Kevin Kisner claps back at fan in hilarious way

In the first round of the BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club, Kevin Kisner was going about his business as usual until a drunk patron attempted to question his strategy.

Per Twitter user @NCTattoo14, Kisner then displayed exactly why you shouldn’t do that…

The recent Wyndham Championship winner has long been known for his dry sense of humor, and in this scenario, we truly couldn’t have thought of a more Kevin Kisner response.

The Ryder Cup hopeful shot a first round even-par 71 to sit in a tie for 56th-place. He tees off in round two at 1:55 P.M. Eastern standard time alongside Max Homa and Charley Hoffman.

Why not also say it was ‘epic’ or other garbage clickbait heading words… Why are a good portion of the writes for wrx so bad…

Can you imagine if any MLB outfielder reacted to a rowdy and rude fan the same way? Yeah, it happens sometimes but most of the time they just ignore and let it go. The golfer should not have responded to the fan, and just let the tournament security or officials handle it if it got way out of hand.

Kevin is the bomb. He might possibly be the funnest PGA pro to play a round of golf with other than maybe Phil. Of course, Phil would probably talk so much trash to you around the course you might wish you were playing with Kev after a few holes.

The only part of the article I find offensive is the author’s use of the term “claps back”.

John Cleese has a dry sense of humour, Kisner just told a spectator to go and “fu_k themselves”! These guys know that ticket sales and commission stands are benefits to the sponsors? How many times have we heard groans from patrons at Augusta when players’ in contention lay up? Try telling them to do likewise.

That wasn’t hilarious. It was childish.

Put your big boy pants on and find your “ignore” button, Kisner. Seriously?

Otherwise, just keep entertaining us like a clown in Clown World. Your choice.

Phil Mickelson’s LIV heckler is revealed…and here’s what happened next

Phil Mickelson’s LIV career hasn’t got off to the best of starts to say the least.

The 6-time major champ has yet to break par on the new breakaway tour, looking like a shadow of the man that thrilled fans with wildly entertaining play on his way to 57 professional wins.

Despite insisting that his best game isn’t far off, Lefty currently sits T40 in a 48-man field at Bedminster, following rounds of 75 and 73.

Mickelson’s week in New Jersey got off to an ominous start, with the 52-year-old having to back off his opening tee shot after a spectator shouted, “Do it for the Saudi Royal Family!”

So, who was behind the call that casted a dark cloud over Mickelson’s week in New Jersey? Jason Selvig, content creator, comedian and one half of The Good Liars.

The prominent prankster has made a habit out of gatecrashing events, and Selvig certainly achieved his goal on Friday, but how did LIV respond?

Probably not as you would have thought.

In a video posted to his social, Selvig shows how he initially lured Phil into giving him a nod of approval and a thumbs up before delivering the line that forced Mickelson into backing off.

Unsurprisingly, Selvig received a couple of angry responses from the crowd before security entered the fray, seemingly to turf Selvig out of there.

But the prankster’s comment only garnered a warning, with a security member telling him, “One more time, and we’ll escort you out, one more time.” With Selvig then apologizing to some upset crowd members.

As for anyone believing he may have paid full whack to mock a player, LIV’s tickets are not exactly flying off the shelves, with Selvig tweeting“($1 tickets on Stubhub) and the crowd was very SMALL with very LOW energy. SAD!”

If you were expecting the heckler to have been thrown out instantly, then you wouldn’t be alone, but Selvig’s reprieve allowed him to spread some posters at the event…

…maybe next time security won’t be so forgiving.

Phil Mickelson brutally heckled on opening hole of latest LIV event

It’s been a tumultuous year for Phil Mickelson, with the six-time major champion facing severe backlash for his admission that he used the Saudi-backed LIV Series as leverage against the PGA Tour before eventually defecting to the breakaway tour.

In between came a self-exile from the game, and since his return, things haven’t gone very smoothly, with the 52-year-old looking wildly out of sorts on the course.

On Friday, one of the most popular golfers of all time (at least until 2022) suffered the ignominy of having to back off on his opening tee shot after being heckled.

Stepping up to his opening shot of the day, a spectator shouted, “Do it for the Saudi royal family,” which prompted Mickelson to re-do his routine. He would go on to make bogey on the hole.

The heckle is the latest clear dig at Lefty’s willingness to defect to a breakaway tour which is funded by a Saudi regime with a poor record when it comes to human rights.

Mickelson’s day hasn’t improved much at all either, with the Californian currently 3-over through 14 holes, as Lefty continues to search for any semblance of the magical game he possesses.

‘Your tee times at Augusta are numbered’ – Wife of Masters legend lashes out at Bryson DeChambeau

As the third LIV event gets underway, one of its biggest stars has unsurprisingly been hitting the headlines.

Speaking after the LIV Pro-Am, where he played alongside former President Donald Trump, Eric Trump and Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau discussed his current relationship, or lack thereof, with Tiger Woods.

Speaking on Thursday, Bryson explained:

“We have been fairly close and unfortunately, we have not spoken, one day we will again, and I am always open for a conversation with anybody. I have no problem with it and I hope we can come see eye to eye on it.’’

The next time the two may see each other at a tournament could be in April at the Masters, but according to the wife of Ben Crenshaw, Julie, that may not even be the case.

Responding to a tweet from TWLegion, which reported Bryson’s comments on Tiger, Julie Crenshaw made her feelings known about the 28-year-old, claiming that he should do more listening after Bryson allegedly told Ben, multiple champ at Augusta, how to putt on the tricky greens.

As well as ripping DeChambeau for the putting advice, Crenshaw’s wife suggested that Bryson’s days at the Masters are numbered.

This all comes in the wake of Greg Norman’s recent interview with the New York Post, where the Aussie stated:

“I spoke to Fred Ridley. They’ve weighed in pretty hard against (LIV). The majors should stay Switzerland, they have a responsibility for one event, not a league. But it also tells you is there a cabal there? This is the slippery slope you go down about what LIV is starting to expose.”

Interesting times ahead.
