Favorite Nike club of all time? – GolfWRXers discuss

Published

on

In our forums, our members are discussing all things Nike equipment. WRXer ‘greenfieldgolfer’ asks fellow members what their favorite Nike club is and reveals his pick of the brand’s SQ 5000 driver, saying:

“As of right now, I still game a Nike SQ 5000 driver. It doesn’t get much love or recognition, but the combination of forgiveness, distance, and sound makes it really hard to replace in my bag.”

And our members have been sharing their favorites in our forum.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • lefthack: “Both my Vapor Pro Combo and VR Pro Combo irons were excellent. I also enjoyed my VR Pro hybrid.”
  • B.Easy: “Vapor Pro Blades. Loved the mid and long irons especially.”
  • hwnstyle21: “VR-S Covert 2.0 5w will not leave my bag.”
  • getair23: “OG blades. So clean and simple.”
  • byoshio82: “The VR forged wedges were some of my all time favs.”

Nike is lame. They make lame shoes, lame clothes, and made lame golf clubs. I don’t understand the obsession that the publisher of this website has with Nike. There seems to be at least an article a week focused on Nike. How about one for Goldwin, or Maxfli?

L.A.B Golf has soft-launched its new MEZZ.1. Proto, which is currently limited to just 1,000 individually numbered putters.

The new mid-mallet putter is fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) for what L.A.B are calling their “best-feeling putter to date”.

The new addition includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow the company to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

Golfers can also choose their preferred alignment aid, with blank (no marking), line, and dot all offered with the new MEZZ.1 Proto.

The putter comes equipped with a headcover and is available to purchase now at LabGolf.com for $600.00.
