Club Junkie: Fujikura MC Putter shaft review and cheap Amazon grips!

Published

on

Fujikura’s new MC Putter shafts are PACKED with technology that you wouldn’t expect in a putter shaft. Graphite, metal, and rubber are fused together for an extremely consistent and great feeling putter shaft. Three models to fit any putter stroke out there!

Grips are in short supply right now, and there are some very cheap options on Amazon. I bought some with Prime delivery, and they aren’t as good as you would think.

Depending on how much you play or your type of game is it wiser to spend $5 a piece or $15+ a piece?

Club Junkie: VA Composites Nemesys wood shaft review and a big golf week for me!

Published

on

This week is a big golf week — playing in a member invitational! Got the bag sorted out and there are 14 clubs that I am going to live or die on the course with. I have been hitting the new VA Composites Nemesys wood shaft and am very impressed. A great counterbalanced option with a mid-low launch and low spin.

Club Junkie: My 3-wood search, Mizuno ST-Z driver, and Srixon divide golf ball review

Published

on

I am on the search for a 3-wood this year and talk a little about my top 3 that I have been hitting. Hit on the pros and cons of each option and what might be in the bag next week. The Mizuno ST-Z was on the course and a really good driver for players who want forgiveness but don’t need any draw bias. The Srixon Q-Star Tour Divide is a cool 2-tone ball that makes short game practice more interesting.

Club Junkie: Cleveland RTX ZipCore Full-Face and Flightscope Mevo+ Reviews

Published

on

Cleveland’s new RTX ZipCore Full-Face has been in the bag for a couple of weeks now. Super easy to hit flop shots and other higher lofted shots. Shape is great, compact, and traditional, with good feel and tons of spin. The Flightscope Mevo+ is the larger brother of the personal launch monitors. Good accurate data and easy-to-use software make it worth the money.
