Club Junkie: The softest forged irons you’ve never heard of and the Cobra RadSpeed hybrid!

Published

on

Ever heard of New Level Golf? If you are looking for wildly soft players irons, then you should check them out. The PF-1 blades and the PF-2 cavity backs are as soft as anything on the market right now. Great irons for skilled players.

The Cobra RadSpeed hybrid is a solid mid/high launching hybrid with a solid Cobra feel and sound. Pretty neutral-bias ball flight with only a slight draw.

Wedge Wednesday is here! We have some new wedges from Edel and Cobra that were just released. Edel’s SMS wedge with Swing Match Weighting System is made to be adjusted for each player’s swing. Cobra’s Snakebite wedge has wider and shallower full-face grooves for more spin out of any lie.

Club Junkie: Wilson Staff wedge and Bushnell Wingman review

Published

on

It’s a short one this week, but I’m reviewing the new-er Wilson Staff Model wedge and the Bushnell Wingman GPS and speaker. The Staff Model is a solid forged wedge that offers good feel, spin, and turf interaction for a slightly lower price. The Bushnell Wingman is a golf GPS and a bluetooth speaker in one. It has a TON of golf stuff built into it, but can also be used off the course to listen to your favorite tracks!

Club Junkie: Reviewing TaylorMade and Miura Irons, All-Fit Universal Shaft System

Published

on

TaylorMade’s new SIM2 Max and SIM2 Max OS irons are meant to make the game easy and fun, but they both offer solid sound and feel. Miura is going to make a splash in the game improvement with its PI-401 iron. Really solid performance with a great feel that you would expect from Miura. All-Fit is a new universal shaft system that allows you to use any shaft in any driver head. They have a few limitations, but overall a great way to tinker.
