Is there an “after market” hosel for Ping? Shouldn’t the large minus move his driver to 7.5 degrees of loft?

The manufacturers have many different adjustable hosels. Most of the time the description of the club is the loft stamped on the club and the actual loft. The tour departments get the “B” stock heads by specs. The stores get the clubs as close to the standards as possible. Tony wants 7 deg, so they’ll get a head that specs as low lofted below the 9 deg head as possible and adjust it from there. Also, lowering the loft opens the face so they’ll adjust it more if Tony wants it more open for his fade. I know TM has hosels that max out loft change at 1,1.5, and 2 deg so you can match the open or closed face to the loft. I’ve seen Callaway long drive 5 deg heads with a -2 option where the stock one only has -1 deg option. Realize that they pull heads for the pros that fail to match the printed specs so they can get any off spec head they want without having to make it for them. It may say 9 deg but might spec out between 8 and 10 for example and then adjust it from there. Or weight or lie angle or exact center of the sweet spot etc.

Tony has the tools to win (or at the very worst a consistent top 5 guy). He should have a lot more wins by now but only has one (Korn Ferry/Web.com wins don’t count). He reminds me a lot of David Duval in the mid-90s.

Agreed he should have more wins by now but not sure about the Duval comparison. At one point DD won 11 times in 34 tournaments. Little different then Tony trying to get number 2.
