Jordan Spieth pulls off incredible 4-iron tee shot on 100-yard par 3 at Pebble Beach

Published

on

Jordan Spieth found some form last week in Phoenix, and if his approach in his practise round on the iconic 7th hole at Pebble Beach is anything to go by, it appears the Texan has got his swagger back.

Measuring approximately 100-yards and downhill, the short hole at Pebble usually requires just a wedge, but pre-tournament, Spieth decided to show off his skills and pulled 4-iron.

The result? Phenomenal. As you can see below.

Spieth will look to back up last week’s performance when he tees it up Thursday at 1.09 PM ET.

Tiger Woods talks about his recovery in first interview since accident

Published

on

In his first interview since his single-car accident earlier this year, Tiger Woods has revealed that his rehab has been “more painful than anything” he has ever experienced.

In an exclusive interview with Golf Digest, Woods went into detail on his injury and recovery, as well as the outpouring of support he has received in the wake of his accident.

Speaking on his post-accident injuries, Woods told the publication

“This has been an entirely different animal. I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced.

My physical therapy has been keeping me busy. I do my routines every day and am focused on my No.1 goal right now: walking on my own. Taking it one step at a time.”

Woods first posted a photo update last month, with the 15-time major champion on crutches and in a walking boot.

Many fans commented at the time how Tiger’s upper body looked very athletic, and Woods told Golf Digest that it was likely a combination of the crutches and his workouts.

“It’s funny because in that photo, the crutches definitely make my shoulders look big!. Maybe it’s the workouts, too. It’s been nice having the ability to still stay strong and work out my upper body.”

The 45-year-old also described the support he has received from his legion of fans as well as those away from the sport as “incredible” and mentioned how it’s been a big help for him as he continues his recovery.

“It’s been incredible. I have had so much support from people both inside and outside of golf which means so much to me and has helped tremendously.”

Woods didn’t disclose any information to Golf Digest on his hopes of playing golf again.
