Is Joaquin Niemann the Mike Trout of golf? Lots of power in having the left arm off the chest… just look at the long drive championship competition. pic.twitter.com/XYsBqQdZGw

I can’t…
When Aureus dropped me back in ‘93 for an #exposure allegation it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I signed with Tobasco/Chiliwear 6 years later. https://t.co/AmEg7y3a0B

Could Kyle Berkshire outdrive you with his lob wedge? There’s a good chance the answer is yes

Kyle Berkshire’s 302-yard 8-iron strike turned a lot of heads last month, and the World Long Drive champion has stunned golfers again, this time by producing spectacular numbers with his lob wedge.
The 24-year-old filmed himself on Instagram this weekend where he delivered a monumental strike with his lob wedge – with his trackman numbers showing 115 mph clubhead speed and 158 mph ball speed resulting in a 260-yard hit.
Check out the video below.

A 260-yard lob wedge strike is considerably longer than the average amateur golfer hits their driver. Last year, statistician Lou Stagner, used data taken directly from the USGA Distance Insight Report to calculate the average driving distance for male amateur golfers in different handicap ranges.
To put Berkshire’s latest hit into even further perspective, the long drive expert’s lob wedge is only five yards shorter than Ben Hogan’s stock driver yardage from 1948.
