2020 Callaway Big Bertha B-21 irons
Callaway Golf has unveiled its new Big Bertha B-21 irons: The first Big Bertha iron designed using artificial intelligence.
Through Callaway’s A.I.-designed Flash Face Cup, the new additions feature a unique Flash Face architecture in each iron in a bid to provide high balls speeds and increased spin robustness throughout the bag on each loft. Complimenting the Flash Face Cup is a 360 Face Cup that flexes and releases at impact to help increase ball speed further.
2020 Callaway Big Bertha B-21 irons: The details
Appealing to higher-handicappers and players who tend to slice the ball, the new irons contain a large amount of offset, wide soles and a thick topline, and feature a Visible Tungsten Energy Core (VTEC) for the very first time which deepens the CG in design to make these irons extremely easy to launch and a complement to the B-21 woods.
The wide sole of the irons aims to fight against inconsistent turf interaction while allowing golfers to feel more comfortable over the ball.
The increased offset aims to help golfers create a comfortable relationship between the hands and clubhead at impact, while the broad face of the iron is in design to allow for higher ball speeds wherever you hit the ball on the face.
The Big Bertha B-21 irons also contain the company’s urethane microspheres which are designed to absorb unwanted vibration for greater feel without reducing speed.
Specs, Pricing, and Availability
Callaway’s Big Bertha B-21 irons are offered in 4-PW, AW, SW, LW, and come to retail on September 10, with a price tag of $899.99 for steel (7-piece) and $999.99 for graphite (7-piece).

New Level launches new 480-DB irons, blending performance and forgiveness
New Level has been making some really good golf equipment since the company started up in 2018. Offering irons that are more geared towards the better player, precision has been a fundamental philosophy for New Level in creating irons and wedges.
The 480 line of irons has been the flagship of the brand, and the newest member of that team is the 480-DB iron that is now open to pre-orders. A new cavity design is what the whole 480 line is about, and the 480-DB takes advantage of that with added ball speed and a larger sweet spot.
For players who require their irons to offer the best feel, rest assured the DB is a fully forged (from 1020 carbon steel) one-piece golf club. No multi-piece, hollow design with this iron.
While the 480-DB is the next generation of the popular 902-OS, New Level didn’t follow the current trend in golf by chasing distance with the new iron. They actually weakened the lofts on the 480-DB with the spec sheet showing a 33-degree 7-iron and 45-degree pitching wedge. These lofts allow the DB to have less offset while still offering consistent distance off the face.
A traditional design was also at the forefront of the new irons to make sure that golfers with an eye for detail can look down at them with confidence that they will perform under any condition.
A weight low in the back cavity will allow their master club builders to dial in the perfect weight for the golfer, no matter the length or shaft being used. New Level believes that the new 480-DB is one of the most forgiving one-piece forged irons on the market today. A pre-worn leading edge on the sole should get through the turf quickly and with reduced digging for better turf interaction.
You can pre-order the New Level 480-DB right now on the New Level website.

Beauty is most certainly in the eye of the beholder. These irons are not only beautiful but they are deadly accurate. There was a time when Callaway X14 irons were so good world number one players were using them. I have used them for 20 years and won many trophies and Sunday morning bets. Then I compared the X14 to the B21 and the B21 killed the x14 in every department. They are a full club longer, go higher, and the accuracy is out of this world.

I hope this is for the relaunch strata line because either there marketing department has become so out of touch or unfortunately due to the pandemic, that they no longer have a team working on aesthetics, mind you coming from a life long callaway playe.
