TG2: TaylorMade P7MB & P7MC Review | Oban CT-115 & CT-125 Steel Shafts

Took the new TaylorMade P-7MB and P-7MC irons out on the course and the range. The new P-7MB and P-7MC are really solid forged irons for the skilled iron players. Great soft feel on both, MB flies really low, and the MC is more mid/low launch. Oban’s CT 115 & 125 steel shafts are some of the most consistent out there. Stout but smooth feel with no harsh vibration at impact.

On Spec: The unexpected lesson from Jordan Spieth’s win | Plus ANWA & ANA Inspiration coverage

In what can only be called the busiest week in golf so far in 2021, host Ryan breaks down the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour, the Drive, Chip, and Putt, and of course Jordan Spieth’s comeback win in Texas.
All of this is leading into the Masters, and Jordan’s win comes with a very important lesson for those golfers who might be struggling with their own game.

Club Junkie: Wilson Staff wedge and Bushnell Wingman review

It’s a short one this week, but I’m reviewing the new-er Wilson Staff Model wedge and the Bushnell Wingman GPS and speaker. The Staff Model is a solid forged wedge that offers good feel, spin, and turf interaction for a slightly lower price. The Bushnell Wingman is a golf GPS and a bluetooth speaker in one. It has a TON of golf stuff built into it, but can also be used off the course to listen to your favorite tracks!

Golf's Perfect Imperfections
Golf’s Perfect Imperfections: The ultra-modern game, courtesy of the launch monitor

There are life and game-altering moments that occur in one’s existence, and after 43 years in the game of golf, I’m witnessing the launch monitor’s era, and I welcome the change with open arms. The most important thing for my job is my student’s happiness; they improve their swings, they stripe the ball more solidly more often, they are happier, they find the equipment that suits them. Moreover, I want students to improve the consistency and feel even more of their strike. They are even more comfortable. For me, it’s essential to have both.

I gamed the CT 115 shafts in my M3 irons for about a year, and they’re legit. If I could get them in black for my P790 black set, I’d swap from the TT X100 shafts in a heartbeat.
