Justin Rose signs putter deal with Axis1 Golf

Published

on

On Monday, Axis1 Golf announced the signing of Justin Rose who will game the Rose Proto putter for 2020.

The Englishman began using the Rose Proto last year and went on to post career bests in Total Putting (13th), Putting Avg. (5th), Overall Putting Avg. (3rd), One-Putt Pct (3rd) and 3-Putting Avoidance (8th).

Speaking on the signing of Rose, Luis Pedraza, Founder and CEO of Axis1 stated

“We couldn’t have a better ambassador to represent our brand. Justin is incredible to work with and immediately recognized the difference this technological innovation can make – for every golfer. We worked with him to fine tune our putters and created the Axis1Rose. The synergy of our relationship is paying off, helping to create a new global brand of putters.”

@axis1golf

Per the company, who claim to be “the creators of the worlds only perfectly balanced / torque-free putters”, the Axis1 putter places the center of gravity exactly in the center of the striking face and in-line with the Axis of the shaft in a design to create a perfectly balanced putter.

On the new deal, Justin Rose said

“I had great success using the Axis1 last year and am excited to partner with the most innovative brand in the field. While helping to create this putter, I saw the technology that sets it apart from the rest and I believe it can revolutionize the market.”

SIM Max vs SIM2 Max – GolfWRXers discuss

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been comparing and contrasting the original SIM Max with the latest SIM2 Max driver. WRXer “Spaceman1976” is torn between the two and reaches out to fellow members saying

“If anyone can offer their experiences with both drivers, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. I do see more SIM2 drivers for sale on the board than SIM drivers.”

And WRXers have been sharing their thoughts in our forum.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • Yoshimonster: “Very minor difference between them. Go with Max.”
  • philleeeep: “I thought there was a big difference in sound. Hard to explain, but I personally preferred the SIM Max.”
  • tleader: “Love my SIM Max. Very little (if any) difference to “upgrade” to the SIM2 Max if fitted correctly.”
  • Kale_m: “Sim2 sounds and feels softer. Still super hot but just a different sound and feel. I personally like it. Sim2 is more neutral flight to me. I am playing it at a lower loft and in the upright setting. Dead straight bombs. Sim was much more fade biased, even when in the upright setting.”
