TaylorMade Sim Max Rescue

TaylorMade has launched its new SIM Max Rescue which for the first time in the company’s history features V Steel technology in a TaylorMade hybrid.

The V Steel technology in TaylorMade’s SIM Max Rescue is designed to deliver improved turf interaction and reduced friction from a number of different lies. The new rescue also includes a reshaped leading edge which works in tandem with the V Steel technology in a bid to provide players with improved playability and strike conditions.

2020 TaylorMade SIM Max Rescue: Details

The SIM Max Rescue features a rounded toe and adjusted face angle to provide for a new-look shape at address. The rescue also contains a C300 Steel face (also found in the SIM Max fairway metals) which is designed to improve ball speed, durability, and overall performance.

Twist Face and Speed Pocket technologies round off the SIM Max Rescue.

The Speed Pocket is designed to provide increased ball speed to the entire face while improving forgiveness on low-face impacts, with a slot insert also designed to sit flush with the sole to enhance sole interaction and eliminate turf drag. The Twist Face technology aims to counteract common mis-hits on the toe, heel and low on the face.

TaylorMade Sim Max Rescue

The SIM Max Rescue comes equipped with a Fujikura Ventus Blue stock shaft, with custom shaft options available at no extra cost, and a Lamkin Crossline 360 grip (47 g). The Ladies SIM Max Rescue includes the Aldila NV Ladies 45 shaft and the Lamkin Ladies Sonar grip (38 g).

The SIM Max Rescue will be available for preorder on January 10 and at retail on February 7, 2020, and has an MSRP of $249.99.
