Seeing that worn spot on his putter, I wonder if it hasn’t developed a slight imperfection or small dent that would affect a true roll. I’m sure not many people have struck that many putts on the face. It is quite amazing that he has basically used that same putter for 20+ years I hear he has a few back ups but that none feel like the original. Pretty sure he could adapt rather quickly since it looks the same.

Over time, random grit on the ball or face can scuff the sweet spot, but you won’t ever dent the metal face it at all, using putting speed against urethane.

This is such a great story for Tiger. Beat his demons, got himself back on the bike, and continues his dominance! The sky is the limit! Tiger grows up, kicks butt, and is there for his most important fans, his family. It will be delightful to hear all the country club Tiger haters downplay this victory, especially after their President gives him the Medal of Freedom (just to divert from the impending indictments)…

First note. 23 shanks on his equipment that he just won a Masters with. Ok guys, sorry you don’t like his clubs or that he doesn’t have a mixed set. Whatever. He basically designed his own irons that look very similar to DJ and Rory’s TM blades. He wields them better than anyone ever pretty much. So what’s the problem shank voters? He plays traditional looking wedges instead of those hi-toe things (respect) and he went back to the most valuable putter in the game of golf. What’s not to like here? If he suddenly switched to Adam Scott’s f@$ing space-ship you’d have something to bag on.
Second note. Interesting how many fashion mavens commenting on Golf WRX. His line of Nike clothes has always been fairly lame. This isn’t news. But, like, who cares?! The GOAT won again and it was a very cool historical moment for the game, the tournament and fans alike. EVERYBODY looks dumb in a green jacket. Doesn’t matter what collar is going on. Cuz, y’know, it’s a GREEN jacket. The only uglier jacket is the plaid one you get for winning that other tournament I can’t remember the name of right now.
