Not a single article on this site from this years Solheim cup, unlessvthe search is really bad. Good work, not. Great comeback from Lexi yesterday, -8 for seven holes. Incredible to watch, and I’m European. Far more interesting than the PGA.

I use practically the same spec as she does except I use PX 5.5 in my irons and wedges, and 75 gram shafts in my driver and 3 wood. I believe they tipped her driver to turn it into an X from the stock S offering. Most likely this was for spin control.

Is the shaft 45 inches? If so, how long is the total driver length? It might be 47 inches. I like that. My driver is 47.5 inches. One of the ladies uses a 48 inch driver but chokes it down I understand. I have been using a driver between 47.5 and 48 inches for over ten years now and can’t see going back to a shorter one any time soon.

The entire club length is 45″. The shaft was tip trimmed an extra one inch, so it is even stiffer than the X-flex normally would be.
The description can be misleading if you aren’t familiar with the lingo and how they describe things, but the 45″ refers to total club length, not shaft length.

If her putting stays fixed, she’ll be in the Rolex top 3 for a long time.

X-flex in Driver, Stiff in Fairway and hybrids, 5.0 in Irons. interesting.

I was going to say the same thing. Not only X-flex, but also tipped at 45″. And, her average swing speed is 106mph? Really?!

She just swings her driver very aggressively. Pro’s usually do that. Driver for distance and the other clubs for accuracy. She uses lower lofted irons so she swings easier on them I guess. Works for her!!!
