Or, not that interesting at all, what would be more interesting would be what kinds of head weights she has with those shafts

“Head weights”? Why would she have weighted club heads? Lead tape?

Yes, the Nippon flex designation “SR” is their Stiff/Regular not Senior flex.

Re: 3 Wood shaft – Oban’s Kiyoshi line is different from their Devotion shaft, which the Devotion isn’t a part of.

Wie’s clubhead speed is 106-108 mph, which is right on the line between Stiff and X-Stiff. In this situation, most all top amateurs and pros will choose to go with the stiffer shaft, especially since they have no problem properly loading the shaft. The stiffer shaft will be more accurate and allow them more easily control trajectory without giving up any distance. Many tour pros with incredibly fast clubhead speeds will use Stiff shafts in their sand wedge and lob wedge because they almost never hit these clubs 100%. Lydia’s shafts are between Stiff and Regular.

Big difference in flex comapred to Lydia Ko (who is using a SR flex in her 3 wood). Wie of course is taller, stronger and more of a hitter whereas, Lydia is more of a swinger.

I saw that too. It says Lydia has S flex in her but driver but SR in 3 and 5 woods. I highly doubt she is playing a level under regular. That just doesnt make sense. Maybe SR is in between Stiff and Regular. However I am surprised that Wie is using X flex.
