Can we get an update on Sergio’s clubs since he and TaylorMade parted ways?

@ eddie, Rosie handed the Mahztaz over to Gergio on a silver platter, period! Gergio couldn’t ever close out the win in regulation with a downhill 3 foot feathers putt. Back door all day and night.
I’ll say it again, Gergee needs to send florals and candy asap to Justin for stepping aside and allowing
him to be removed from the best classless golfer never to have won a major.

@ Luke, No not at all! Nothing about my comment referenced a winner’s country. Although he should publicly condemn those in Spain that launch oranges and bananas at visiting soccer team members that happen to be black!
Have a great life Luke!

Give Sergio a break – his putting is enough of a penalty!

Wonder if he’ll serve fried chicken and watermelon at next year’s championship dinner? You know, to honor Eldrick as he promised awhile back. He needs to send “thank you” florals to DJ and Justin for facilitating the drought ending backdoor club joining win.

Disappointed an American didn’t win then?

There was nothing backdoor about his win. He was in the final pairing and tied for the lead to begin the day.

I don’t usually comment on anything but damn I’m so happy for Sergio ! So much deserved ! Never see such a happy green jacket ceremony. Well done Sergio !

I too wondered if Sergio had gone back to a more-standard length driver. It looked that way to me. In any case, he drove it beautifully. Actually, it was beyond beautiful.
Sixth in driving distance for the field, for the week.
And second in driving accuracy.
Ahead of Steve Stricker and Larry Mize, in driving accuracy.

According to Taylormade on IG, he also has 30 gram weights in the butt-end of his irons.

The new M2 driver is LEGIT…. and so are the 750s and the MG Wedges… love it.
Congrats to Sergio! Been a looooong time coming and he played a fantastic last 6 holes (including the playoff).
He must have smoked his drive on 15 310+ to only have 178 to the pin…. and sticks his 7 iron to 12 feet… absolutely changed the tournament then and there.

Even more impressive, it was an 8 iron on 15!

The tournament committee – who undoubtedly know how many strokes the penalty would have been – said it didn’t move.

All we need is another weekend handicap player claiming he/she saw a penalty sitting on their rear at home….when are all the amateur PGA wanna bees going to get it, it is not your job to monitor what the real Pros are doing out there.

Love the new irons in his bag. I have lot of TM in my bag too but wish they wouldn’t come out with new stuff so frequently. Stuff in my bag now only months old but not their current clubs. Don’t they know average golfer is not on the Taylormade staff?

He won putting conventional too.

Not correct enough Zubair. He started the week conventional but switched to the pencil grip late on Saturday after a few misses. Believe he putted pretty well overall but obviously not the best part of his game.
