I used to be titleis players but recently switched to footjoy cabretta soft and think I won't look back. it's just a tad thicker than the titleist and identical in every way for the rest; And it being a slight bit thicker makes it last a bit longer (although my lighter grip pressure also may play a part in that). For me these two gloves are by far the best, and actually probably 99% identical to eachother.

The SciFlex is the only glove that fits me right, and for me is the most comfortable especially in the palm and over the knuckles.

The FootJoy StaSof is true to its word and have had it for a while without too much wear and tear and it stayed very soft.

The FootJoy StaSof is absolutely the best glove, but if your looking for the most durable then you can not beat the FootJoy Spider2

I love the feel of the FJ StaSof but mine dont stay grippy for all that longs, I could probably go though one ever 2 weeks or so.

The best glove I found for the price and wear is the Zevo Cabretta glove at Golfsmith.  For $6 you cant go wrong.  Lasts a long time, mesh inbetween the fingers and feels great.  Oh, did I mention it $6.  It will be the best $6 you have ever spent.

yea but you spend $7 for shipping

The softest I have found is the puretouch limited by footjoy. Not sure however if it is the most protective. Its the softest because it is a very thin layer of Cabretta. This same feature might make it less protective comapred to a thicker glove.

They are also pretty expensive.

TThanks, my incision line runs down my lifeline and proection is probably more important than softness.

Will be out for at least two months and will have plenty of time to try grips and post on Gwrx!!!

I found the Wilson Cabretta gloves to be the best bang for the buck, and they fit me really well.

I like the Footjoy sciflex and the Nike dri-fit

You can get blemished sciflexes pretty cheap. Never found anything in a blemished one.

Herzl Trust Control.  Used one for 50 rounds, with no wear out in palm.  They lost money on me! (I got it for free at the 2011 PGA show KBS day). ;-)

Foot Joy Sta-Sof.  The FJ Sci-flex is a good one as well.

In your situation, Bionic would be the first glove I'd try.

Tried a lot of brands, and I like the old Taylormades that I can't find anymore, most of the top of the fingers were mesh.

I used the Sta-Sof for years but have recently switched to the Titleist Players.  They are a bit thinner than the FJ and both last about the same amount of time.

As mentioned the best glove out there no doubt is a Hirzl. Some complain they are expensive but they are the same as a Bionic and $4 more than a Footjoy Sta-Sof and last MUCH longer than either one of those.

Puma!   Wow what a glove and so far no wear (3 rounds and 2 range sessions)  usually mine would be showing some marks by now.
