I am looking to purchase a new set of irons this spring and wondering what is the best place to get fit in the Detroit area?  Carl's, Pure Impact, Miles of Golf or Golfsmith.

Any feedback or experiences with any of the above mentioned would be helpful.

Thanks.

I was just fitted by GolfTec which is inside Golfsmith, was a nice simple fitting experience.

The only one I'd stay away from is Golfsmith, I've heard firsthand from employees that they have incentives waiting if certain products are pushed harder than others. Pure Impact has an awesome set up, as do Carls and Miles. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I'm getting fit at Pure Impact later this month, and my buddy had his fitting with Chris this past Monday. Loved his session. I think all three basically use the same Trackman technology to fit you, but Pure Impact has more exotic shaft choices to try out, as well as JDM heads (Miura, Epon, etc.) you can test.

Thanks, I was leaning towards Pure Impact because I have heard some good things about them.

Just make sure you call and talk to him in person. He isn't great with returning emails because he gets too busy

I would suggest Miles of Golf in Ann Arbor or Scratch golf. Scratch has just about every shaft/head combination you can think of and the guys there really know their stuff. They do 10+ different wedge grinds and they'll also grind irons if needed. If you want to get an all out custom fitting Scratch is the way to go.

Ive been going to Pure Impact and have known Chris for about 6 years. Always does top notch work and has the most to try based on my experience especially in exotic product. If you have any questions about the experience feel free to pm me.

You can't go wrong with those three options (Scratch, pure, miles). Don't bother with Golfsmith this time around when there are some amazing places to get fitted.

I drove up to Miles of Golf from Columbus Ohio last year for a fitting and consider it time well spent.  Great fitting experience.
