Overall in my game, here's how things are shaping up:

I think you missed one of the more important categories.

Is the "Fun Meter" pegged?   Sometimes it's easy to get so lost in the process we forget why we're out there :-)

I told you all to keep your eye on this thread, that I had something in the works. Well... that time has arrived.

One week from today, I will be embarking on my most ambitious trip since this thread began: I'll be traveling to the home of golf, Scotland!

This trip is almost one year in the making. Monte has told me about all his trips to Scotland and England, and last year he asked if I'd like to come along on his next trip when he goes to qualify for the Senior Open at St. Andrews. As you can imagine, I jumped at the opportunity.

So, I, along with Monte and two of our friends, will be traveling to Scotland and England for 10 days of golf and fun starting next week. We've got a ton of exciting stuff planned, and there will be plenty of golf, food, and sights, and of course, pictures and write-ups of it all!

I was excited when I first booked my plane ticket (by the way, thanks to my Miuras for paying for my flight ;) ) I was like a kid on  Christmas day. As the trip has gotten closer and closer, that excitement has only grown! There's no telling if I'll be able to contain myself when we land! The feeling of having the opportunity to play true links golf, in the place where this game we all love began, is indescribable.

I've got my rain gear packed and I'm ready to play some golf! Stay tuned for live updates from the UK!

Most haggis there isnít traditional.  Just a meat patty.  Kind of like a hot dog in taste and consistency.
Whatís nasty is white pudding.  A local convinced me to have that.  Thought it was a desert.  Google it and youíll figure out why I call it oat p****.  Tastes like feet.

Enjoy!!!!!!! Just two weeks since we got back and it was incredible - you will love it.

As well as the rain gear bring suntan lotion. We are having a heat wave in the UK and it looks set to last.

Just touched down in Scotland. We started the trip playing Fiddlerís Elbow in Bedminster NJ. Took the red eye to Edinburgh afterward. Got a few hours sleep on the plane but Iím pumped.

Starting the trip off right with a round on the Old Course today!

Pictures to follow.

I guess "Forest" has a different meaning over there :-)
