Not sure why the Tour Plat has one and the Tour Black/Red not.

Chris - did you happen to ask when you were in Carlsbad ?

I believe I read on here somewhere that they are planning on releasing sightline versions and other hosel configurations too next year

They didn't give us any specific reason, just a design choice I believe. I heard the same thing as Dave, new hosel designs and sight lines on new models. Personally I love it without. I've always putted better without a sight line. Plain or with a circle/dot works for me. I aim them better.

My work schedule is finally allowing me to get some more practice and play in. Since May it's basically been playing or practicing 1 day a week. Thankfully that won't be the case the fall.

Here's some swings from my range session this morning. I'm loving where my swing is at. I'm hitting it really pure. Im working on getting a big turn in the backswing, then getting my left arm off my chest in transition then turning through. That's it. Very simple and great results.

Playing a draw with my miss as a push that doesn't turn over. That's a welcome change after fighting a hook for so long.

Your finish position looks so balanced.  Do you attribute that to the basket drill?

I don't doubt that the basket drill has helped some. That and getting a bigger turn in the backswing have cleaned up my lower body action quite a bit.

The thing that's had the biggest impact though has been changing shoes. I've been using more spikeless shoes lately, ones with more heel drop. With spiked shoes, my balance tends to get too far toward my toes and messes with my rotation.

Flatter shoes are allowing me to be more balanced at address and to maintain it.

I've got a pair of Travis Matthew's (in the video) Nike Chukkas, Adipower boost 2's (fairly flat), Nike AM90.

C'mon Chris, follow gamble and I and get on the gc2 fun bus. Get a little indoor hitting area for those cold days.

If I had the space for it I'd be all over it.

LOL, luring him to California didn't work for TM. I think he's baiting them and waiting for a bigger contract.

I gave the TM gear a good run, but unfortunately it turned out to be a poor fit. The driver was way too little loft, and cranked up the face was super closed. Granted, I didn't give them much to work with after a 16 hour travel day and a late night at dinner (tight and swinging terribly). I tried a few different shafts but it was a hook machine.

I launched the irons way too high, even with 2 strong in the 770's and 3 strong in the 750s. The additional offset was tough to look at too.

Wedge wise I adored the performance but the glare was unbelievable. I'd definitely think about getting a set of the antique bronze MG wedges.

Putter is back in the bag.

The experience was terrific out at TM HQ, the clubs just didn't fit me right. If the weather had held off I'm sure they could've given me a better fit. I used my specs from my Club Champion fitting but they just didn't pan out.

I actually have another TM driver coming to test out in a week or so.
