Local store has a set of the i20's on markdown.  wonder if people thought the i25's were worth full retail vs a generous markdown?  thanks

That question has been tossed around here quite a bit with varied opinions. Most ping fitting carts have both; so give em both a try and decide for yourself.

I gamed the i20s last season, and have hit the i25s my last lessons as I'm waiting for my s55s to arrive.  For me, looks goes to the i25s, feel goes to the i20s, and performance is almost identical.  In my opinion, assuming both sets are to your specs,  the discounted i20s are the way to go.

The discounted i20 are the way to go. I even prefer them to the new one!

I have i20s and I took the demo 7 iron out to the range with me Friday.  Granted, they  had very different shafts, mine are Nippon SPBs X and the demo was the CFS S.  I did not see enough to make a change.  If you handed me one and I could only look down at it from address and you put a gun to my head and I had to tell you which club I had in my hand, there is a 50% chance I would not make it.  To me, the i20 and i25 7 irons looked identical from the address position.

I'm with the rest. Hit some I25s for fun ( same shafts). Me? I'm keeping the I20s, they feel a lot better. Otherwise a wash except for price.I'd advise I25s if a) you are coming to one or the other for the first time so the newest model and b) if you have the cash and just want what's current.

Never got on board with i20's. I think the i25's finish looks more appealing. I25's all day unless the i20's are 300-400 cheaper.

Demoed bother i20s and i25s as well as the MP54s and the AP2s.

Initially bought the MP54s, a range session and a ton of soul searching and I traded them for the i25s.

Took them to the range and had much more consistent ball flight than the MP54s.

After the initial warm up strikes, had the attached ball patterns.

Very, very happy.
