Lee Trevino: Who cares how I take it back, you don't hit a golfball with your backswing.
Eddie Lowery (in the movie): easy peasy, lemon squeezy. (From a British TV Ad)
Carl Spackler: Cinderalla story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now about to become the Masters champion.

A lot went in one ear and out the other because, as a typical 7-12yo, I wasn't big on swing or life thoughts, lol
My only thought was hit it and chase it-
For me to pick just one quote is impossible, so I'll be adding a few, though this is one of my 3 faves from Mr. Penick, probably because it was far and away the one most repeated to me by my Grandmother, lol:
"Practicing your short game will help your long game in every way, though practicing your long will not help your short game in any way."
It rings as true today as it did in 1970, when I'd always grab for my driver on the practice tee and my Grandmother would place her hand over it, pull my 9i out with her other, and more or less, say those words, LMAO
It just took me a while to accept it lol
Have a Great season

as in, lay WAY up, not as close as possible to the water hazard. I think I remember Lee Janzen saying it and it stuck with me as my favorite thought on course management.
If we're going funny, Lee Trevino to his caddy Herman, discussing distances on the tee at the Skins Game - 17th hole at PGA West (Alcatraz, the par 3 with the island green):
Herman: "152 yards, 153"
Trevino: "Well... which one is it?"
