The finish wore off the sole, but other then that it's help up pretty well. It does ware, but not as bad as I was thinking it would initially. And I've become quite accustomed to the black, and would absolutely be willing to get it again.

I'm pleased with it so far, but it hasn't seen the grass yet.  How does it work in the cart?

I play the Ci-9's. They look like something out of K-Mart, but play really nice. Wilson is making really good clubs these days at great prices.

Wilson has been making clubs a lot longer than most OEMs. They've always had high quality stuff and underrated stuff too.

It is always under rated, but also so hard to find most of the time.  I wish they would work their way back into more stores. The new M3 irons look amazing. Out of my price bracket, but a players forged cavity back for under $1K is really keeping their price point competitive.

been looking to change my Srixon Z Star irons so tried these- I was only interested in forged irons as I like the feel- typically forged here in Au are around $175 per iron so immediate attraction was the price $125 per iron. After 30 minutes I really loved the irons and compared with other forged irons tried they were similar in distance / accuracy and to be honest felt a little more so loved them. Managed to do a deal - 4-GW plus 54 and 58 wedges all for $760 AU= apprx $650US or getting on for over half price of Mizuno's and Callaway and Titleist- going for less popular brand has real value and I have to say they performed  as well if not better- price also included upgrade to KBS Tour shaft- highly receomended

Always love to hear a good deal, especially with an upgrade like that.  And the big surprise you should have is the Ci11's aren't even forged! Says allot to how they feel.

It's 100% worth it! I normally prefer a red & black color mix, but in this line the black just looked perfect.

Sweet set up. I don't know much about the Wilson's product line and at my current skill set I should play a game improvement iron. I started playing again last season after a 16+ year hiatus. Any suggestions in the Wlson line? I'm turning 50 in a few weeks and decided to hang up the hockey skates and play golf.

Wilson has been under the radar the past few years, but they have been putting out great stuff.  Particularly irons.  Given that you are just putting up the hockey stick, I'm sure you won't need anything from the D line, but it would be interesting to try those heads with a more robust shaft.

The Ci11's can be had for a steal right now new (like $300 I think), and if you can find them used they will likely be some of the lowest cost irons you will ever find.  The C100's are the 2014 line.  Already announced, but not in stores yet.  If you are into forged players irons with some forgiveness, the FG Tour V2's are a great option, but I think the new M3's would be worth the wait. Both those forged players clubs come in under $900 new, so bellow most the other options.

Nice set up. Wilson are massively underrated at the moment but I game the fg 62 blades are they are beautiful to play and not as unforgiving as some might think. I tried your irons recently and was really impressed. I am always weary when I play a match and my opponent has a bag with some unusual clubs as they have obviously picked them for the performance rather than the name.  Happy gaming

That's still the best driver on the market for me, and that fairway wood is classic! Great setup.

The fairway and hybrid are currently the longest standing clubs in the bag. However, they are also the clubs I'll likely be fit for and replacing next. Not anytime soon, but hopefully within the next year.

Finally took some pics of the new putter. The sole may say 340g, but the fitter actually built it up so the swing weight is in the E0 range.
Full specs: Odyssey ProType #7 - 34", 1.5* loft, 70* lie, Iomic standard, E0 swing weight.

That driver is one of the most underrated and overlooked drivers I have played. I will never get rid of mine, until it literally breaks. The woods are just as good by the way.

Thanks everyone! Luckily I'm currently focusing my budget on playing and not clubs. The only really equipment piece in danger right now is the ball. I'll be testing two new potential gamers this weekend.
