No new Bstone clubs in 2014, new B series balls, colored ferrels as a option for the irons.

Don't know HOW they can improve on the J40 430 driver. But, I'd like to see them try.

just checkkout Torstage offerings they are always at least a year ahead of Bstone......and their current x-drive has an intercahngeable shaft so i et the next bstone will have one.

don't seem the point myself adjust once and Bobs Yer Uncle...

The X drive looks pretty sweet and looks like a 'natural' successor to the J40 line.

Hopefully anyway.

Those do seem to look nice.  But doesn't  Japan always have the better stuff that does not end up here?

As said previously, with Bridgestone in the states we typically get Tourstage hand me downs from Japan one or two years down the road.

Tourstage is a much bigger brand in Japan than Bridgestone is in the states. So they take what sells in the bigger Japanese market and rebrand it state side. I would guess we probably only get two of the three I listed above. Probably the 450 and either the 430 or 420. I doubt we'll see all three though.

They have good marketing campaigns and the campaigns seem to work too.  You think they would throw in that they also make clubs every now and again.

Bridgestone Putter Line - does Tourstage make putters in Japan or will this be all new for the American market?

those tourstage drivers retail at the 1000 mark... with the specs they are made to.

will a 1k driver sell here?   enough to offer multiple heads/shafts/marketing campaigns?

maybe if we take the long approach...  buy top quality,  buy it right,  to last,  &  not a new paint job every 6months... if the buying public said enough is enough & pull their heads out of their asses & didnt let the tail wag em.

Also for you guys with info, any news on the possibility of them throwing DL3's blades to the US market?

A combo of them, and J40 CB's would possibly be the best set of irons in the history of golf.

Curious to the deep milled part. I've heard it's for auditory purposes only and doesn't have any effect on the actual roll of the ball vs a non-deep milled face. Kind of like the sound slot found on some putters, purely for a different sound, no playing affect.

I believe that completely. I've never seen a study that shows It gets the ball rolling faster. The only thing I've seen proven to do that is the method technology. That's a debate for a different time though. I just enjoy the feel.

Cool, good to know. I was genuinely curious if anyone had ever seen noticeable results from a deep milling. What about the Rife grooves, or the Odyssey Metal X, or the PureRoll from Ping? Do any of those have stats to back up their claims to getting the ball rolling better like Nike does? I've seen a lot of things about the Method tech, and I believe it, especially coming from some of the members who say it works.

To give credit where credit is due go to http://www.tourspecgolf.com/. They carry all the Japanese market products.

But to answer your question OP, take a look at the Tourstage line on the link above. All Bridgestone does is bring that line to market in the US.

Was wondering this myself.  Looks like the Tourstage driver is only face angle adjustale?  Wonder if there any significant drop in quality or change in design between the Tourstage and US version Bridgestone drivers?  Wonder how they justify the $1k pricetag in the Japaneese market?
