Anyone got info on the  Wilson C100 irons. It is the replacement for the CI11's. I saw a pix in GOLF magazine but I really could not decide much from the picture. Would love more pictures or perhaps a review if anyone is testing for Wilson.

did a google search which showed 2 pics on golfsupport.co.uk  but it would not let me copy the link, it looked  a lot better than the model it replaces.

I'm curious about these as well. It looks like in the past they've had the C and D lines--Ci11 vs Di11, etc..how are these positioned? Obviously they'll have the C100 and D100..is one more of a GI/SGI than the other?

The C series is the GI offering, and the D is SGI.

Just by the pic in the GM, I would say that with all the steps forward Wilson has taken over the past few years to getting back in the market, this is at least 2 BIG steps back. They look like D-100's painted black. Price point is more than the Ci11 and you get some of the ugliest irons on the market now. I'll pass. I hope they look a lot better in person.

To me they don't look that bad, but they don't look that great.  Honestly just a more rounded version of the Ci11.  Personally, I prefer the more squared shape of the Ci11, but this should could appeal to people. I think if these come with a great stock shaft, like maybe the DG Pro.  That shaft is conceptually in line with the Ci11's flighted TX shafts, so it could be a good fit/improvement.  The other improvement I think they could have made from the Ci11 is a slightly more progressive design.  The offset is plenty progressive, but I would have liked a smaller cavity in the 8-GW. But all in all, I'm still playing my Ci11's, and these don't have me ready to upgrade. With or without a great shaft. Unless they just added everything I just mentioned.  Then I'll be there ready to swing them day 1.

If you really like Wilson irons, even though I know not too many people do, compared with Titleist or Nike.

Please go for the FG tour and tour V2 if you prefer cavity back, FG 62 and 100 blades(on the way) if you prefer muscle back. Their looking are awesome, and feel sweet when I hit tour V2. I also heard a lot of same feedbacks for FG 62, the most classic blade looking but with good forgiveness.

Personally I have tour V2 for the game, but really want to purchase 100 blades when release early next year just for look at it and no play :), and maybe replace some of my short irons.

No way! Tour and V2 are great, don't get me wrong, but the Di11 is also an outstanding cavity back.

In one of the magazines the lighter colored areas was more shiny; I didn't like the look of it like that. I preferred the look of the Ci11. I also like the look of the D100 more.

Am I the only one that thinks painted black irons look kinda cheap? Not my thing but I bet they perform.

I have always like black over satin or chrome.  So these look halfway decent to me.  But the bottom line as you say is do they perform.

These look almost identical to the Ci11s. Are there any substantive changes?

I don't know of any iron that has an area that is painted. The color is a result of the material/metal used in that area of the club.

Respectfully disagree here, not sure that they even compare finish wise. However I keep hearing more and more about the quality of WS clubs. Would be interested to see how that double finish holds up.

What is the negative on the quality. First I have heard of that.

This looks more like a PING finish than the black Ci11. Pictures/lighting can be deceiving, but this looks waaaay better. Less busy in the badge area.

Poorly worded on my part, I was referring to the quality in a good way.

As in, I have heard several things reflecting on the good quality of WS Clubs...

My only question was the durability of the finish itself.

The finish is not brushed so reference to ping irons is incorrect. Also, these have a much shorter blade length than the ci11s so they are not really that similar at all

Here are some C100 pictures. I Love DAStaff but even I want to see these before passing judgement.
Also a picture of 2014 D100. I did not expect any update. They cleaned it up a bit but still looks great

i been playing wilson balls for awhile and been impressed with their performance. I was definitely thinking about a C11 from my current iron upgrade but those FG Tours look GREAT!
