Anyone use the Mizuno JPX-825 3 or 5 wood? Thoughts?

I have this 3 wood with the Orochi Blue shaft. Very easy to hit high and straight. Great sound.

You might be able to get a couple of more yards from one of the max COR's FW's but the 825 is nearly as long as anything out right now. The new EZ woods appear to have much deeper faces if that interests you....

I have the 5 wood in a standard reg flex.  Great club.  V easy to get off the ground with good distance to boot and straight as you like.  Mis-hit's seem to be fairly close to where you'd hope they would be (within 80-90% of distance).  Probably not quite the longest out there, but they tend to end up where you want them - that works just fine for me.  Strangely, they are priced at the lower end of the market for me (I live in Dubai) given that they are such good clubs.

I have hit the 825 and the new EZ. The new EZ is better looking and the sound and feel are a lot better! Wait till Nov. for the EZ wood line release IMO. Driver is awesome too! :golfer:

European website says EZ woods/hybrids not released until Feb 2014 - are they being released earlier in the US?

I almost bought one a few weeks ago.  The local PGA Tour Superstore had one with a real deal Blueboard shaft.  I guess it was a special order that was never picked up.  Anyway, I hit it along side a 910f 15°, and ended up buying the 910f.  The 910 just felt better to me, even with the made for titleist shaft, and it was cheaper.  The 825 was a very nice club though.  I'm not knocking it at all.  If they wouldn't have had such a good deal on the 910's I probably would have bought it.

I've hit this club many times.  A great feeling fairway wood and very hot, just as good as most woods out there but since nobody considers Mizuno woods credible it doesn't get much thought.

I currently play the 825 3 wood and really like it. It may get replaced by the the JPX EZ 3 wood when it comes out though as long is it sits as square as the 825 due to the EZ being deeper.

Mizuno woods aren't sexy. I felt the same way about Mizuno irons until I put them in my bag, I can't believe I wasted time playing other irons and missing greens.

Love my Mizuno Irons and wedges next will be the woods!!
