According to other threads, Don White will continue to grind the custom Scratch irons from his home in Tennessee.

If I recall correctly, he owns his own machines.

I read that too. Think he kept them when the MacGregor plant closed.

I wonder if Don White has any idea that is famous in certain golf cirlces?

Someone should make sure that he knows about GolfWrx so he can read about himself.

Talented guy.

Don isn't big on the internet and I'd bet still has the same cool flip phone as the last time I saw him, here is Cash Money White hard at work! DW is a bass catching machine when not on the wheel! Same Timex as the JMO picture!

Scratch Golf is bankrupt and there is limited information to where Don is now. Has he retired or is he still making and grinding forged iron heads somewhere else? If he has retired, is there anyone that he trained to do his kind of job that he would recommend? I am left-handed and I am looking for anyone who can custom build forged iron heads with zero offset, there is no OEM forged iron model in history or existence with zero offset for left-handers. I also have some preferences on the face length and toe height/shape and the thickness/thinness of topline and sole, I want to build a muscleback design so perfect that every pro will want to play it and never go back to playing cavityback's again! So where is Don now and if he is done then who else can do his job now?

Yes, through Boyd Blade & Ferrule co. Doing stuff with SSC like you guys said, Sweetens Cove (scratch connection obviously), and they did a set for Zac Blair and The Buck Club but that was probably just a one off don't know if they have a connection though it would be pretty sweet for members if they did limited runs for select clubs

Patrick @ BB&F Co. has made note that he currently does not have LH blanks in stock but is actively working on getting them.  I would jump in line now and play the waiting game.

Okay so I emailed Patrick and got a response; You're right, no lefties available yet... But do BBF even provide individual customization of the heads? I just want to find someone who can actually forge and make me my own one-of-a-kind set of muscle back blades with the dimensions (face length, topline width, sole width, etc.) I want, there has to be SOMEONE in the world that does this kind of job and is available to whoever contacts them, is there?

P53 irons will do this for you. It won't be cheap, and based on what I know, I suspect they'll want to charge you a monthly fee to make this happen.

Basically, you pay them for a couple years and go through some back-and-forth to get precisely what you want.
