It's been a while since I've last done one, so this will continue to be a work in progress. I'm regripping this evening so full iron pics will either be old or not up yet!  Here goes:

[attachment=1830854:monday812 001.JPG]
Driver (just updated, no pics yet): PING G25, 8.5*. Shaft is a UST VTS Silver 7X
Fairway wood: my old trusty. PING G15 17*. This is shafted with a VTS Silver 8X
   FW UPDATE: I'll be testing a G25 in the same setup as the G15 for the near future, comparison pics to come.
*placeholder for pics

3H: Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 21*, built 1/2" longer than standard with a KBS C-Taper (X)
[sharedmedia=core:attachments:1407479]
4H: Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 24*, also with a KBS C-Taper X.  I experimented a bit last year and found that the C-Taper works really well in the Fli HI heads, whereas DG isn't as great.

Irons: Mizuno MP-53 (5,6) and MP-63 (7-P) with Dynamic Gold X100s. These are 2*flat, std length, D4.5 swingweight.  I added heavier tip weights late last season and the results have been a lot better.
*bonus: I dremeled the chrome off and got rid of the paintfll.  Close up photos below.
[sharedmedia=core:attachments:1407473]

Wedges: Mizuno MP T-4, 50/06, 54/09, 58/10.  All wedges are -.25", 3 degrees flat, and have Dynamic Gold S300 shafts.
[attachment=1830858:monday812 002.JPG]

Putter: Another old trusty- 3 years and running.  Piretti Potenza 370g, 33".  I've got a counterweight installed in the butt end to smooth it out.  Grip is a midsize IOmic in orange.

[sharedmedia=core:attachments:1116632]

[sharedmedia=core:attachments:1116636]

Grips: Lamkin Crossline Cords on everything but the putter.  No frills, just one layer of double-sided.

The VTS Silver has been my driver shaft of choice for 2 years now, and has gone through 3 different heads.  I play the 7x.

Pros: Honestly, I haven't found anything better and it feels great.  It's also not too expensive. When I had my Anser, the Trackman numbers were near perfect and with the G25 the ballflight is pretty similar.

Cons: Some weights and flexes are hard to find.  I went the SPX route for the 8x's in my two 4woods, and the builder (who has an eBay store and a following on here) was lackluster at best.  Got one build flat out wrong, took several reminders from me to ship back a pull, and was responsible for the worst grip install job I have ever seen.

Something I'm working on...but yes. Hence the user name: what's worse than a duck hook?

Hey man appreciate the feedback on the VTS shafts...I was interested in the i20 driver (just really like the way it sets up) and was thinking about having PING install a VTS ($100 upcharge) but then did some research and found out that UST actually makes the PING 707D shaft that is in the i20 driver stock...I even saw where UST responded in an email and compared the 707D to the VTS 6SX...So I went ahead an pulled the trigger on an i20 driver with the 707D stiff...and for $199 for the driver, I figured I can always reshaft.  Thanks again for the feedback.

And nice swing and good luck with those hooks as I have the complete opposite problem as I play a high spinning fade on every shot and my struggles come when my transistion gets a bit off and I hit weak shots to the right...everyone has their struggles or it would not be called GOLF!  :russian_roulette:

matte black refinish on the 4w is stealthy sick.  always liked your bag setup, nice to see close up pics.  :)

ws11 has me thinking about getting a backup i20 head and what better time to try out the vts?  you should get commission on all the sales you've generated of that shaft.

I think it speaks to how good the line is, considering some of our MD guys have found one that works.  And we have a large spectrum of golfers.

I'd say go for it. You play a PX 6.0, right?  You could go Silver 6SX, or maybe a Silver 7S.  A bunch of guys were playing the Silver in the i20 back when it came out.

Definitely true, PING makes great stock shafts and I think they're all made in collaboration with UST at the moment.  I'd stay away from the stock G-driver shafts, since they're counterbalanced (while the VTS is not).

MAJOR UPDATES, 4/5/2014

Driver: SLDR 430, VTS Silver 7x

Fairway Wood: PING G25 16.5°, VTS Silver 8x.  42.5"

"Hybrids": Mizuno MP Fli-Hi, 21° and 24°.  Shafts are KBC C-Taper X.   The 4i is standard length, but the 3i has an additional half inch for use off the tee.  These don't get a ton of play on course.

Irons: Mizuno JPX 825 Pro, 5-G. Shafts are Dynamic Gold X100.  I bought these after a fitting session that went very  well. Same shafts as always, but surprisingly I am now back to standard loft and lie.

Wedges: Mizuno MP T-4, 54/09 and 58/10.  Shafts are Dynamic Gold S300.

Grips: Everything that gets swung has a Crossline Cord.

I just added the JPX-825 pro irons to my bag.  Very little course time with them so far but loving them the few times I have been out to hit them.

Bio Cell assimilation complete? :)

I assume you just turned down the loft on the 5W to 17.5? The BC+ is a really good looking FW, kinda small, but still a really nice club.

Nice pics too.

Sometimes 17.5, sometimes 18.5. Last couple of rounds it was really cold and windy so I turned it down. It's also 42" instead of the 42.5 my 4w is built at and has a heavier shaft, so it doesn't quite go as far.
