I leave mine on when I golf. The only times it comes are off are swimming(and sometimes I forget to remove it for that) for fear it'll slip off, playing bass (clanks against the fretboard, especially when playing my 12-string), and rock climbing (I do NOT need that catching on a hold if I slip off).
OFF. It bugs the heck out of me off the course as is but wearing it while playing is really bad. I did it once when I first got married and won't do it again. I rarely wear my ring as it is... it's just a ring and has no indication of where my heart is. The ring is also very annoying while typing. Who came up with this ring idea anyways. I bet he owned a jewelry shop.
Married 20+ years. Only take it off when working on the vehicles. Chemicals under the ring can be quite irritating. I only remember to take it off then when I feel the burn.
Used to play with it off until I forgot one time and shot a career round (for me). Now if I don't have it on the round could be in the toilet after the 1st hole!!! Thank god I wear a glove ("How you doing cart girl, i will have a....").
married for two years this August and before I umm lost my wedding ring last October I always took it off when playing just couldn't get used to the feeling. I have a pretty understanding wife she knows were married and that I'm not going anywhere so she hasn't pressured me into getting a new one...yet...
I keep my on and it doesn't bother me. I know my dad said when he first got married he couldn't wear his. I was surprised my didn't bother me because a watch or anything else similar bothers me a lot.
Always on. I was always concerned that the extra bit of weight on my left hand might cause me to hook the ball, but I found that the ball and chain on the right ankle more than compensates.

ha ha, I like it.
As for me, I put it on my chain. Simple...easy fix and takes a few seconds.
