Has Sergio inherited the Title? He's only 26 but, has won a few tournaments and is a Ryder Cup icon. Should people cut him some slack or will he ever even win a major? I think he's got to break through some time....

I expect Padraig Harrington to win a major before Serge.

I definitely agree on Paddy. He seems a little streaky right now, but I'll think he'll come through soon. I think he's mentally closer then Sergio.

Agreed I give the nod to PAddy, but Sergio is breathing down his back.

Sergio has a lot of game, but his shaky putting is what I think will stick him with that moniker for a long time.

Paddy will probably break out soon. As streaky as he has been, his game is solid tee to green. Just a good streaky week and he could walk of with a PGA.

Another streaky one that's name is mentioned quite a bit is Adam Scott. He's got the ballstriking to compete with anyone, and when he rolls the ball well look out. This guy can go seriously low when the putts start dropping, and will just pull away from a field. I'd say he's at the top of my list of players not to win a major.

Sergio's a wonderful player, and an exciting player to watch, but I don't feel his game is as good all-round as a Harrington; as consistently solid as DiMarco, nor as solid as Montgomerie.

Sadly, I think Monty's major-contending years are behind him now, so my vote for Best Player Never To Have Won A Major goes to Harrington.

In my mind Sergio is clearly the best player without a major, and only his putting has prevented him winning a couple. He is consistently in contention in majors, unlike Harrington who is a great player, but fairly 'hit and miss' in majors.

IMO Sergio is a star, and great for the game. People love watching him, I hope he wins one soon.

i think it is a tie between adam scott and sergio they are both young great players who i think will both have a major by the end off next year.

I think Sergio is the best without a Major but he and Adam Scott will break through sooner or later. Sergio came 3rd this week after a win and I think hes just starting to get it all together lately.
