BTW, I've pre-ordered this Tri Ball SRT putter and the new Cally X460 driver but I know I'll have to wait until next February/March for those clubs.

Thanks for posting, but I think that I'll be sticking with the traditional Anser style.

Aren't 3 ball putters illegal? Apparently not but I thought they were. Any insights gents?

As long as the heel-toe measurement of the face is longer than the front to back measurement of the head than the putter is legal. Pelz's original 3 ball putter was longer from back to front than heel to toe so therefor it was deemed illegal.

That thing is huge! I guess Callaway did not want Ping to have the largest putter on the market with the Crazy-E. Can that thing pick pay-per-view?

I think that chick in the heels is the guy with the khaki shorts in photo number two...

And that putter looks horrendous--like a two ball got together with a doc and had a baby...

That puppy should be a real nightmare to try and fit in most carry/stand bags.

I don't know...it may help keep those irons stable. It looks like you can fit a few inside those two outer rings...

I don't like the steering wheel putters!

Why is the putter market turning into the razor market?

"the mach 12 uses a the 9th blade as a phantom blade, which doesn't actually touch your face during shaving"

There coming out with a 2-Ball SRT aswell, so the guys that like the look but think it's too big, you have something to look forward to. I am not sure exactly what Golf Digest Issue it was, but it was the issue in the Equipment section that they introduced the Tri-Ball, and they breifly touched on the 2-Ball SRT aswell - there was also a picture of it.

They are having a sweepstakes to win of these monsters on odyssey's site.. MSRP $249.00

Quote

Upon certification by Callaway Golf Company as an eligible participant, the winner will receive one new Odyssey® TriBall™ SRT™ putter with a retail value of $249.00 (the “Prize”).

It's pretty ugly, but looks like it would be a solid putter.

I was able to play with one of these bad-boys today. It's ugly as hell but a smooth putter. Very easy to keep on line. I just wouldn't have the confidence to play with a frying pan.

I have had this putter in the bag for the last couple of weeks and it is a solid putter. Defintely HIGH MOI, no twisting with this thing. Stable through impact is the focus of this putter!

Don't laugh till you try it, I got one two weeks ago. Since then I have made a whole lot of putts and collected a nice bit of change. Absolutely the best putter I have ever had - the thing wants to go straight back and through on the stroke, just doesn't want to twist. Try it, you may get over the looks when you start collecting money.
