What's the most comfortable pair of golf shoes out there? I'm not a big fan of the "atheletic" style golf shoes, but if they make a difference, I may try a pair. I currently wear a pair of Fit Dogs (which were comfortable at first, but now I can feel where the spikes are and my feet really hurt if walking more than 9 holes) and an old pair of dryjoys which are a little on the heavy side.
I haven't tried all of the shoes on the market but I think the Tour 360II's are deffinately among the most comfortable shoes I have ever had on my feet. These things fit great on my foot.

I haven't tried the sequels, but the first Tour 360's are very comfortable right out of the box and look semi-conservative depending on what colors you end up with.
The new 360s are supposed to be a wider then the first go around. I am not sure if they also increased the width on the wides. The new powerbands are great.
After doing a little research, I was impressed by FootJoy's website. Not only do they offer shoes in a multitude of widths (I'm a 10 XW), but more so than any other company I found, they have many different molds upon which they design shoes (they call them "lasts"). Each model they make is based on a certain "last"...I never knew before I found it on the internet. Anyway, things like a wide forefoot and fat instep and high arches are all features they design around for certain models. Based on the online descriptions, the "FootJoy Contour" seemed to be designed for my foot shape and was available in XW (EE). I ordered a pair last summer and just last week ordered two more pairs (because I like the first pair so much).
For the last ~10 years I've worn the ~$130 FootJoys because I thought the extra money meant they were better. Perhaps it does...but the ~$130+ FootJoys are typically designed for feet that are longer, thinner, and flatter than mine. Most companies don't offer "extra-wide" widths. Etonic, Dexter, and Oakley do (according to zappos.com), but I've only ever owned FootJoys. As far as I know, Nike and Adidas offer "wide" but not "extra wide". Hope this helps.
I have wide feet and a high bridge and the only golf shoes I've ever found comfortable are Adidas. Last year I bit the bullet and stumped up for a pair of Tour 360's and I have to say that they're incredible. They are the comfiest shoes I own, period. I actually look forward to getting out of the car, taking off my shoes and putting on my 360's, they're so comfortable they feel like slippers.
So far i have only been able to convince 1 of my playing partners to part with the £100 for them, but he agrees with me.
Might try out a pair o the Callaway Chev I soon, anybody try those ?
I have Addidas Tour 360's, Nike SP3.5, Reebok D2's and Etonic's - the most comfortable? The Etonics, less than half the price of the 360's, which are the second most comfortable. The only other golf shoes that I have owned that were as good were a pair of Stuburts bought in the 1980's, they too were like carpet slippers!
Same! I could walk 36 holes without feeling a thing. MY old shoes cut up my heels after about 13..I am very picky about golf shoes but theses really work..and ARE'NT athletic styled..
I just walked my first nine last night in new Ecco Casual Cool Hydromaxs. I was coming from a year old pair of Tour 360s and the Eccos blow them away IMO for walking comfort. I was looking to get an athletic style shoe for walking but this shoe was more comfortable than a lot of the sneaker style shoes I tried on - and I tried a lot of them.
I thought my 360's were the most comfortable until I bought the Nike SP8TW. These shoes are in a new class comfort wise. They are truly like slippers with cleats. I went looking for Ecco's as they are highly regarded but for some reason they did not feel good to me.
I just bought my first pair of Ecco and love them. I have a few pairs of FJ Classics Tour, a pair of Adidas 360, and some Nike, but the Eccos are the most comfortable. I have the Flexor Hydromax in white/titanium/silver. They rock!
Just bought the Oakely Bow Ties, and man they were the most comfortable shoe I tried, and I tried every shoe @ golf galaxy and golfsmith on.. I put my foot in and they fit my foot like a dream! I'll have no issues walking this season..
I have a pair of FJ's, but they just don't fit like these and my foot joys were $50 more than the 80 I paid for the Oakely's..
I am a big believer in the Tour 360's. I haven't had the opportunity to give the Tour 360II's a go yet, but I am sure they are just as good as the original. My Tour 360's are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and I don't think they are to athletic looking as compared to the tennis shoe look of some models out there.
Classics Dry Premiere or Ecco's. Last week I was playing in wet conditions, so after the second hole I switched out of the Classics into some Dryjoys I had put into my bag because I thought I might need them but wasn't sure. The Dryjoys, I had not worn in two months, felt terrible compared to the Classics. No comparison. Classics fit like a glove and so do Ecco's.
Footjoy's if properly fit. No other company offers more Width/Last/Style options. You just need a shoe fitter who knows the line and can recommend the proper last for your foot shape.
Personally, I have a short forefoot and a longer arch, and the classics dry premiere with the laser last fit me like a glove. Those with wider, larger forefeet need something like the e-comfort.
Everyones feet are different, and Footjoy has more than double the shape and size options of any other golf shoe company. End of story.
I used to think my FJ Dry Joys Pro were the best, now I like the Adidas Tour Metals....and found'em on da Bay for $50 new a pair. Eccos are nice but not worth the incremental cost.
