I have been struggling with plane/angle of attack for a few years now. My irons are high, crisp shots most of the time. I feel like I take the club more straight back as opposed to the inside. When i use that same sort of upright swing with the driver, it's either (A) a pull hook dead left into trees (B) An ugly slice into trees or sometimes © straight 300 down the middle. When i use a flatter plane with the driver, I still hit those same shots, but the results do not seem to be as erratic. Conversely, when i use the flat plane with the irons, i hit low, terrible shots all over the face. Is the swing plane supposed to be flatter with the driver? What do you think my problem is?

Your arms keep going in your backswing.  Look at that right elbow at the top; it is waaaaaaaaay out there!  The issues that presents are much more apparent with the driver.

It is hard to tell from this view, but it also appears that you are casting, which is caused by a previous issue in your swing.  I am not qualified in any way to tell you what that is though.

Your swing is not upright.  You roll the club behind you off the ball, then are forced to lift the arms at the top of the swing and over run your turn.  That creates momentum that gets you steep on downswing.

That pattern matches shorter clubs but not driver.

If you get the club up quicker by getting your "thumbs up"...your arms won't have to lift and disconnect at the top and you'll be able to shallow on way down.

I also suspect you are moving the upper body laterally toward target on downswing.

That also could match a shorter club as produce steep AoA.

Thumbs up, keep upper body back.
