Hey guys,

this topic is about the Taylormade V Steel vs Titleist 906/910 THREE WOODS.

I really need a new 3 wood. My favorite of all time was the Taylor 580, but the shaft snapped (not out of anger). And the V Steel seems to be a very similar club. I also like these cuz they are smaller headed fairway woods.  I have heard the 906 is a BOMBER and the 910 brings that adjustability.  I realize if I buy one of these I may need to reshaft them, so If you guys have any shaft ideas, let me know. I am a mid flight/mid spin guy. Thank you gor your input.

I love the v steel, and I never really liked the titleist line of woods. always something was wrong with the shape for me. I love the way the v steel looks and I also love the ease of use. I hd a really skimpy lie the other day and I still bombed the shot, and I made it to the green in 2. Very reliable fairway wood and it is very comparable to my OG rbz fairway wood.

Went from the vsteel to 909f2.  The vsteel was pretty ligit hitting into greens.  The 909 is a bomber and pretty good from the deck but not quite as good as the vsteel there but close.  I would go the route of vsteel 906 or 909.  These can be had on the cheap.

Im using an R7 ST with steel shaft. 10gr+10gr so neutral setup  Very accurate.
Have had 904/906/909 3 woods or 5 woods.

Do check out Tom Wishon's 3 and 4  woods. My 4/16.5  949MC is superezy off the fairway

the 906F2 is, like you said, a bomber. Try one with a real blueboard.
