So my company (that I own) is thinking about doing some advertising. I'm considering playing in the US APL and US Am qualifyers (and hopefully championships) this summer.

Is it legal for the company to cut me an additional check to put our logo and website on my golf bag? IOW: Can my company (that I own) pay me?

What about other companies?

Note they aren't paying me to be a golfer, but paying for ad space on my bag, shirt, hat, etc.? Just something I was thinking of ever since the board decided to look into it. It could be some decent extra money.

I'm thinking that would make me a "professional golfer" but I just figured I'd see what everyone here had to say.
