So, I just purchased one of these beautiful putters this morning at a golf shop out of town. All I can say is...WOW! I have only spend two hours at the putter green, but I was sinking putts from all distances like never before. The weight is absolutely perfect on the head and the top of the grip. It's the easiest putter to keep on target too. If you can read a green (even a little bit), then you will consistently sink putts easily. If you're thinking abou tgetting one, I would HIGHLY recommend it! Best putter I have ever used!

I ended up getting the 38" inch putter. This ended up being the perfect length to choke down on to create the perfect pendulum motion. I've had a few putters so far this season. The Scotty Cameron select newport 2.6 and the PING Scottsdale TR adjustable blade. I was very inconsistent with the blades, so I decided to try this out. I'm very glad I did! haha

Hit some putts at golfsmith and I agree it felt pretty good and easy to keep on path.    Wonder how the lag putts would get the same results.

I tried this putter and really didn't want to like it at all.  However, it rolled the ball so well that I couldn't help but come away impressed.  I tend to like the look of center shafted putters but may still end up giving this a go.  I wonder if there will be a center shafted version....

umm, he spent 2 hours on a practice green with the thing. Imo not enough time to declare a putter THE BEST EVER. Glad you like it, but I'd recommend playing a few rounds with it before going crazy...

I did the same thing! I went to the golf shop and had my heart set on a completely different club, but walked away very impressed by this one. Man, i've tried center shafted putters and just can't get used to them. I love the way they look, but my eyes just can't adjust to it. I'm sure they'll put a center shafted version out soon!

Lol.  Yup.  The difference is that you hit every club like 15 yards longer than I do...except driver...that's about 50 yards by me.

I putted with the DLL forever today at Golfsmith.  First thing I loved was the weight, just felt perfectly balanced.  The 35" to me was fantastic.  It sits so square that you can almost close your eyes and bang out 5 footers.  It is just so easy to hit putts that it doesn't seem fair :).  I was never a big fan of the spider putter line but this baby has me hooked.  If you haven't tried it you need to.  I hit the tank after and didn't care for it at all. DLL is a real winner in my opinion!!

I was messing around with one of these at two different golf shops. It was very nice: balance, feel, weight...rolled a lot of good putts with it.

I guess I'm in the minority.  I think the DLL weight look and balance are all very nice, but I found the insert feel very clicky and hollow?

To me, the Tank feels alot better.

I agree with onafriday,  I went in wanting to get the DDL, but I ended up with the Tank.  I like the weight better on the Tank, and I could feel the counterbalance more.  Either way, this new style of putter seems great.  Coming from a belly putter last year, this style feels very similar.  If you haven't yet, go try either the DDL or the Tank.

I felt that way too. Went into the store wanting to try the Tank and didn't even want to try the DLL, but I ended up loving the DLL. But I'm going to do some more experimenting with them both before I make a decision.

Are you guys gripping down? I received both the DLL and the TANK yesterday. The DLL seems to swing smoother. I'm not gripping down either. The TANK is 36" and the DLL is 38". Soon off the carpet, and out to the course. A week or so.

It does sit square!
I have putted with the DLL a couple of time and not only is it square but sets square when resting on the ground. I had great success setting the putter on the ground with my right hand and then resetting my hands down to my comfortable length. May have created a new pre shot routine! I am waiting on the Blade to be release.  I hope it sets as square as the mallet.

Got a chance to try it out at Golfsmith today.  Liked the setup, and it putted fairly well... but not any better than some other mallets I tried.  I was disappointed in the materials used.  The head is mostly painted plastic, though that would explain the balance.  Felt hollow.  Not sold on it (I like the Versa #7 better), but I'm not writing it off yet.

For reference, I didn't like the Tank at all.

Tried it yesterday and really liked the feel. I also thought the shorter one 35? felt better than the longer one. I also wasn't a fan of the tank
