Greetings Everyone,

Curious to see any of you have had the chance to try out this stand bag. I like my Ogio Vision, but get annoyed with the legs not closing all the time. It appears Burton is advertising a different kind of stand system.

If any of you have any comments on the Burton Monoshock 300, I would appreciate hearing them.

Here is a link to the product page. http://www.burtongol...categoriesID=36

Thanks,
Jerod

I've tried to find this bag or the Monoshock 200 in stores but can't find it. Been looking since December.

Interesting bag though.... if someone had a 30 day playability guarantee, it would be worth a shot.

Guys,

You had better find one in person because I played the Burton Triad (same bag, different stand system) last season and the stand mechanism was the worst I've ever seen.

It's too bad because I liked this bag at first and had demo'd a friends bag a bit, but didn't notice the stand retraction being so bad at the time. Hopefully Burton has fixed this, but I don't know how they could take themselves seriously after putting out such a low quality product. The new stand sytem would have to be a giant leap forward for this bag to be worth buying.

If you are a serious walker, you should also be concerned with the pocket layout of this bag. It is indentical to my triad and the pockets are not accessible while the bag is on your back, especially the water bottle pocket. My clubs didn't really get stuck in the bag on the way in/out, but the way they organize in the bag just made them look jumbled and always bothered me.

If you are using the bag primarily for cart golf, the bag is actually pretty good, but if you walk there are a lot better bags out there (pocket wise from experience).

Thanks - I'm no longer interested in the Monoshock -- my interests have sided to the new SM 3.5 SL with the HUG system -- that little aluminum belt is supposed to take 60% of the weight off your shoulders

Thanks for the response wedgetoafoot. I'll stick with the Vision for now, and continue my search.
