I would love to own a set of the Nike split cavities, but my current bank account and iron supply won't allow.
I have heard a lot of peope compare the Miura CB1005 to the illusive Nike Split Cavity's.
Are these essentially the same clubs, minus offet in the murias. or are these two completly seperate clubs.
For those who have hit/played both I would love to hear about their simmilarities and differnces. Do ones feel better than the other???
Any and all input would be great thanks.

I don't think there are that many split cavites out there??? JC probably has done the best picture/descpription of the Nike>>>Here.
Best Comparison I've seen anywhere.

there are many similarities... infact it's hard to tell the difference unless you have them in your hands...The grind is just ever so different, both irons have great solegrind...for me the difference came with 8-PW.. the Cb1005's just appear bigger (they are not really that big) but they appear that way.

The CB 1005 is the same iron, minus the swoosh. The America "Miura" version ( the CB1005s are MG Editions) looks similar but is a little larger and has a little more offset. If you took teh logos off of the two, the Split Cavities and teh CB1005s, you couldn't tell teh difference.

I will try to get pics... but I'm busy..
SOLE : Splits are more narrow and have a little less bounce..
TOPLINE : splits again just a smidge more narrow but not by much
OFFSET : CB1005's have a smidge less offset the splits
CAVITY : The cavity itself is larger in size on the CB1005's but it is not as deep as the Splits. The top thicker portion does not go in as far as the 1005's
GRIND : now my splits could have a custom grind, which may account for much of the sole difference in width...but the split have a sharper leading edge as well.
