I really enjoy reading Awsi Dooger's thorough and insightful analyses of Tour players' projected performances and the interplay with Vegas. Always see certain tendencies and traits that I would never notice.

How is Tiger going to do at Augusta?
I can't find updated odds, but last week he was 11/4 to win the Masters.

UK bookmakers have him at 7/2, Mcilroy at 9/1, Mickleson at 12/1, Rose and Schwartzel at 22/1, Snedeker at 25/1, Westwood, Scott and Donald at 28/1.

Snedekar looks like the "best" bet to me of those listed. 25/1 for a guy who can roll the rock at Augusta.

I would have liked that bet before his less-than-stellar return this weekend.

I was actually looking at Adam Scott ... if I was a betting man. (I bet Bubba at 33:1 last year)

Scott at 28 to 1 looks good. I bet the odds get lower on TW as the tournament approaches.

Can I bet on that? Ha!

Lot of pressure on TW. Things have moved very fast and Tiger winning is a forgone conclusion.

He is still hitting some really crappy drives and pulls. Don't think he will win.

I would've thought to have seen enticing odds on Bradley, this being pre-2016 and all.

It's fascinating that no one considers Bubba a contender this year. The way Augusta sets up for long hitting left hand players, it's shocking he doesn't get more consideration, especially after last year.

It's clear Bubba's priority is family right now.  Really don't think he cares too much about golf right now.

Wasn't he playing a lot better last year prior to Augusta? Seem to remember him having a strong week at Doral before Rose beat him. I'm not sure if Bubba has the same mojo that Phil does about Augusta where he can just turn it on every year no matter what kind of form he is in.

Great thread, AWSI is absolutely golden and the most knowledge poster in regards to tour talk on WRX.

I can't stand Brandel Chumplee.  Nicklaus got around just fine hitting mostly fades.  Tiger just needs to hit a draw (easily with 3 wood) on #13.  Tiger 2000 played a fade.  So what's Brandel's problem?

Exactly.  Dude has become a cynical golfing facist.  Whatever Woods does at any given moment Chamblee rips apart like a Sunday political talk show psycho.  When Tiger gets results despite the dire predictions, Brandel's typical pivot is to show how he is now doing what "I suggested he needed to do...".

Given his analysis, Brandel whould be the greatest swing guru of all time...in fact he is one of the greatest "re-packagers" of hindsight   I have ever come across.

Before the Masters last year, he had three Top-5s in his last 5 events, with the other finishes being T13 and T17.

Albeit this year, he hasn't played awful by any means. I know he was sick (twice?) and still has T14, T18, T9, CUT, and 15 in his last five. I just don't feel as good about his game. Seems to be backdooring a few of these, like this week he was able to go out really early and finish on Sunday and put up a number. Didn't have to come back Monday were the scoring was high.

I bet on him last year, I just don't feel as confident this year. He has a lot going on with his expanded family and the responsibilities and pressures of being the reigning champion.

Back Tiger now and lay him when he moves to shorter odds (I'm assuming that's what you mean by lower - if not, just do it the other way round).

He must be betting heavy on one side and doesn't want the WRX crew to move the odds. :taunt: :taunt: :taunt:

Win by any means - whether it's a Cut Shot (Driver) or Stinger 3wd/5wd .... I think the key for him really is the HIGH Balls that
he has that will hold those Augusta Greens.

Angel Cabrera - Hits A Long Towering Fade (Cut) and won the Masters.
