Is there a huge difference in spin between these two heads? Also, did anyone notice better ball speeds with one over the other?

I hit both (100 mph driver swing speed).  They are EXCELLENT.  I ended up with the X Hot Pro (better dispersion, launch, ball speed, and distance).  Plus I preferred the cleaner look (no graphics on the head), smaller profile, and the shaft fit better for me.

What he said  I on the other hand liked the feel of the X Hot (nonpro) much better than the X Hot Pro.  Just depends on what fits your eye and what fits your swing best.

Has everyone gone with the stock shaft length? It feels super long to me, especially with the smaller Pro head.

Everything said above..its a great head. I went with the Pro and switched after going with the RFE first. I've got a Black Tie in it and it just put up the best numbers consistently and the feel was something I feel like I had been missing. I think I missed Titanium after playing the Razr Fit last year and having it for a long while.

I plan on butt cutting the Black Tie about an inch and playing it at 44.75 or 45 max, I agree it feels crazy long at stock. When testing I was choking down a bit.

I ordered the standard head with the Matrix 7M3 and it was for sure long. Only thing you have to watch when cutting it down is the SW. I swapped in my DI-6 and the head felt really light. I know a little hotmelt or lead tape will fix that right up.

I recently had a Trackman fitting at CoolClubs and hit both the XHot heads and the RF Xtreme.  What I saw was that the spin on the standard XHot was about 200 rpm higher than the XHot Pro, and the XH Pro was about 200 rpm higher than the RFX.  I liked the feel of the standard XHot head the best.  I ended up with that head in 44.5" length with a Speeder TS 6.2 S shaft.  That's 1.5" shorter than standard length, so to get the swingweight back up, I put lead tape out on the toe, which also helped reduce/eliminate the draw bias of the head.  I have a 10.5 head setup with a dual cog adapter in the most open position, which reduces the loft by about 1.1° if I remember correctly.  Anyway, I really like the setup.  The carry and overall distance with the 3 heads were all within about 3 yards of each other with the same shaft.

I've always preferred the look of the smaller (tp) driver head. I played the 910D3 and switched to the 913 D3. However. I spent some time hitting the new Xhot line and RFX and I loved the larger 460cc xhot driver. I think it looks great, sounds great and feels awesome!! I've been missing a little recently right, so I love the way the club sits and its squared me back up for a little draw.

I paired the xhot head up with the 6.5 PX shaft from the xhot pro. Winning combination for me. Great stock shaft.

Did you have to order from callaway to get the pro 6.5 shaft with the 460head? I like the 460 head size, but would like to have the hicker kick point of the 6.5.

Spunds like I wouldnt like either if they have a 46" shaft. I like to play 44 max, but as has been mentioned that length does present sw problems. I usually use lead tape which fixes the problem for me.

I normally get the smaller tour head drivers (previous was the 910D3) but with this one I went with the standard xhot.  I had better launch and ball speed.  I couldn't get the toe turned over on the xhot pro due to the weighting and I hit a massive slice everytime.

I went with the standard xhot head 9.5 with the px6.0 shaft from the pro.  It had to be ordered as a custom combination but its worth it!  Great combination and very forgiving with the larger head!

I went with the Xhot over the pro.  Got the Diamana D+72 in it and set it to open.  Great forgiving driver with excellent distance.  I actually liked how the regular version set up over the pro.

what is the difference in the weighting between the regular X Hot and the X Hot Pro? I have the X Hot in 10.5* with the stock regular flex shaft but I tend to hook it. I was curious if the X Hot Pro would help with this.

If I'm hearing this right, this video says that the more loft on the X Hot (not the X Hot Pro), the more draw bias built into the head. It also says that by setting the face to the open position changes the loft by 1*. Is that right? So my 10.5* head would play as a 9.5 when set in the open position?

I've owned both the regular X Hot and X Hot Pro (both 9.5*).  Regular looked too big at address.  I gamed it with a RIP Alpha and then a Diamana S+.  The differences I noticed were: The XHP has a tin sound at impact where the XH gives you a thwack or crack noise.  Both had a nice true flight.  XHP was easier to work.  Boring draws and fades in standard setting.  You do get the advanced optifit with the XHP.  I found this to be a nice way to keep the club at 9.5 while still promoting more of a draw or fade bias.

It really comes down to what feels best in your hands.  Friends of mine said the head was too heavy, they didn't like the grey finish, etc.  But I really liked it.  Had I not won the Xfit Extreme, I'd still have it.

Did you test the PX shaft that comes stock with the Xhot before you put the black tie in? I just scored an X Hot Pro with the PX 6.5 brand new in the plastic off ebay for $120 out the door. I am currently using an Adams Super LS with a 6M3 X Black Tie. I bought the X Hot without testing out with the intentions on flipping it on craigslist or something.

My 2 questions are, has anyone hit both of these drivers? If so how would you compare the two?

Secondly, Would you use the PXv 6.5 or the Black Tie?
