Wondering if anyone out there has tried all 3, and if so, which did you prefer?  I'm kind of leaning toward the Pro1M because of the increased magnification as well as the larger sideways design which allows for 2 hand operation which, IMO, would make it easier.  Or, would you ditch all 3 and try to find a 1600?

Also, these are the ones I'm looking at, I'm partial to Bushnell product so please don't suggest Leupold, Nikon, etc.

As mentioned in another post, I tested out a Z6 at my local golfsmith and really liked it. Reasons why I didn't go for it (ended up buying a V2 patriot pack on sale via online store): high price, have to put good amount of pressure on the power button and the eye piece/viewfinder does not click or set into a fix position like other bushnell.

What Rangefinder were you coming from?

I went with the Z6, as I had the V2 (really liked it)

I havent had it out on the course yet.  I would think the V3 would be a very nice Rangefinder, but too similar to the V2, so I went with the Z6

I think you're gonna be happy no to have the 1M (too big IMO).  Keep us posted.

I'm coming from no rangefinder.  I was using Golf Card GPS on my iPhone.  I had a Bushnell back in the day (before pinseeker existed).  So I'm waaaaaay behind.  I ended up getting the Patriot Pack V3 using a discount code and a $25 giftcard for cheaper than the current retail on the V2.

I like the premise of the 1M, but I didn't want to spend all those bones (even with the discount code and the gift card I had).

I went with the Z6 mostly because it was smaller and fits in my Jones bag better than the M1. The z6 is easy to use with two hands - just use both hands to hold it. I didn't notice the difference between 6x vs 7x mag but the big difference is the M1's button is much easier to push down. The Z6 takes a little force when I first demoed it, but I don't notice it now.
If space is not an issue you may as get the m1.

Just picked up a Bushnell Tour V2 Patriot Edition yesterday for $215 (Yes, I know it's a tad bit out of date). There's a Bushnell Retail Outlet in Kansas who is offering it for that price...but not wanting to wait...I called my local golf shop and they honored that price for me. Otherwise, they were selling it for $270.

I went with the z6. Not as big as the m1 and I can use 2 hands just fine. I actually found the smaller size to be a selling point.

I paid $225 shipped for the v3 patriot pack after a discount code and a $25 gift card. So I'm stoked

I got a Pro1m with slope on Craiglist for $350.  It was practically brand new.  I love it.  I went from a 1600 TE to the Pro1M and I tell everyone how much better it is.  I was deciding over the Leupold and the Bushnell, but with my huge hands I feel the Bushnell is a little bit better to hold.

I have the V2 slope and its great, but played with a guy this week with the V3 with jolt. tried it and liked the buzz when you lock on the flag. Looks like I just missed this deal though :(

Quick question: the V3 doesn't have the brighter Vivid display found in the Pro1M and Z6, correct?

I've tried all 3. My old man has the v3, I got the z6 and I tested pro 1m for a round.

I guess it all depends what you are looking for. If money is an issue v3 although amazon has the z6 out quite cheap  reading very cheap so it's not much more. Can you justify the extra 100 for the z6. I could.

The pro 1m is good, the extra magnification is useful but not really noticeable. If it was 8x or 10x then you would but 6x to 7x isn't much. Then decide if you want slope, I found it interesting but its illegal so seems pointless. Then there's the size, its like carrying an extra club it's that big.

Really I think the z6 is the overall winner, I use two hands with it, the top button loosens up and you end up enjoying the smaller size. It's waterproof ,durable and the new vivid display is great

Remember all they do is tell you the distance YOU SHOULD hit your club, you still have to hit it that distance, and straight

Is that the one on Fort Street?  I'm in Ann Arbor, but I refuse to deal with Miles of Golf.

Just picked up the Z6 Jolt today and had every intention of it replacing my Pro 1M.  Got it home and pulled the two out side by side...definitely a size advantage for the Z6.  The Z6 is also noticeably faster (but really, is the Pro 1M slow? no). The viewfinder in the 1M just looks bigger, brighter and overall better....this was not done on a golf course but I'll be doing that this week before I make a final decision....I have very big hands but used a buddy's Z3 this weekend on one hole and loved the size.

I just got my Z6 Jolt today and played a round with it. Its replacing a Bushnell V2. To me the most amazing thing I like about the Z6 is its size. It's so small I actually played with it in my pocket and didn't notice. On the custom settings I set the red display down to level 2 (factory is set at max - level 4). I also turned the jolt vibrate off since my V2 didn't have that feature, thus I won't miss it. I assume it will also save a little battery life.

The sole reason I went with the Z6 was because of the VIVID LED display.  In flat light conditions, the red LED is a far better contrast and helps me acquire the flag more quickly, especially at distances over 150yds.

Just got back from on course testing between the Z6 and the Pro 1M.  Winner is Pro 1M, hands down.  Display is crisper, larger and more magnified.  Yes, 1X makes a difference.  The thing I noticed about the Z6 was that I would get a different yardage almost every time I shot a pin....It was within a yard or two but it was different.  The Pro 1M was on every single time....same reading over and over.  Golf being as mental of a game as it is for me...I want to shoot it and not second guess it.  I cannot hit to a yard or in most cases 3-4 yds but the inconsistency wasnt what I was used to in a laser.  The Z6 was also shakier in my hands that the Pro 1M.  Yes, I have large hands but still....it was shaky. I also realized that I like the horizontal design of the Pro 1M.

Z6 going back.  Pro 1M staying put.
