Hope someone can help with a query that I've tried to get my head around by reading various posts but just got more confused.
Can I take a set of 3-PW PX 6.0 Flighted shafts and install them into a 4-GW set of clubs, butt trimming for the desired length, without altering the flex / kick points etc?
Butt trimming won't change the flex point of the shafts, but you'll essentially be soft stepping them once. More or less you'll have something around 5.8-5.7's or so instead of 6.0 straight up. Honestly most people probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference with that small of a change. If buying one more wedge shaft is absolutely out of the question for you, I'd say go for it.
