Anyone tried these grips with 3 or 4 layers of tape, making them midsize? There is a great deal at golfworks on them but they are standard size. I'd like to know if they become too hard or if they stay soft even with 4 layers of tape.

I have re-gripped a Driver & 3 wood for a friend with 2 extra wraps & did not notice any differece in feel. Hope this helps.
