Okay, so I have my 3 wood and have set the FCT to the higher position to make my 15.5* 3 wood to a 16.5* 4 wood. Now please tell me if this is correct.... I set the asp to the open position, thinking this will give me at least another .5* up to 1.2* after researching the internet and old posts here.

Is there anyone out there that can clarify this for me is my 3 wood now a 4 wood at 17*-17.5* or is it just 16.5 with a square face now..... Im lost, please help. Thank you all for taking the time to help!

Just 16.5, the ASP doesn't change loft at all when the club face is in a square position - of course assuming square face on contact is your goal :-)

However, keep in mind the 16.5 is still the static loft.  The actual dynamic loft will depend quite a bit on the specifics of your swing.

There are some aftermarket adapters that are +/- 1.5 (get you to 17) or even +/- 2 degs (17.5) instead of the 1 deg adapter that was stock in the r11.  That would be your best bet for getting the extra loft.

Ha Ha... You read my mind.... I was going to ask next if the other aftermarket or adapters for the R11s would change the loft more. I wast sure they would work like that.. That is what I will do, I actually have one from an R11s that I will use, that way it will get me to 17* and thats really where I want to be. Thank you again for all your help, I really do appreciate it!!
