I know the images are not the best. But I think you can make a judgement call here for sure.

I have always thought that last put going in the hole looked like it was fake.....like how it seemed to wobble near the end.  Anyone else notice that?

this commercial ranks right up there with the squealing pig commercial as my most hated sounds on tv.

It is fake.  I think their CGI budget was $100.  Also, all the sounds of the ball going into the cup are fake.

I just can't understand why they think that it a good idea.  I mean, how hard is it to film a putt going in the hole?  The other examples on the commercial seem to be real...why not the last one!  LOL.  Even if it takes 30 takes, it is still a far superior looking product that probably took less time and money than CGI!  LOL.

That last putt is such a joke. A round ball dies about 6 feet short, then suddenly transforms into a pixelated square-like object that got a second wind from an over aggressive mouse push during editing  reminds me of the first season of South Park.

That drives me the most crazy about the commercial. Unless the footage was shot on film (which it was not), the natural audio of those balls going in the cups would be available, cheap cgi aside. I could edit better commercials on my phone. I would never buy something advertised so poorly because it reflects on the company's integrity.

Can someone answer this for me regarding the commercial? Why are all the putts they show being struck, being struck from off the green?

Is there a link to the actual infomercial?  I can't seem to find it, but now I really want to watch it.  The post round interviews I've found on YouTube are great.  Lots of "I almost made a putt with this putter" kinds of comments.

This just shows you how bad marketing can completely ruin a product. I played in a benefit scramble with a gut that had bought one. It didn't feel just awesome, but it wasn't horrible either. On the other hand, Guerin Rife had a well-put-together informercial with quality testiominials  and credible endorsers and look how well he did with the introduction to the 2-Bar. That's why I don't dismiss stuff based on commericials, or else I would turn my nose up to everyone with a "ballz-ier" driver...

Yes, it was definitely altered at the end to make that putt.  Very poor quality for a commercial IMO.

This is a funny thread, I thought I was the only one to notice that last out. I am glad to see I'm not the only one out there that thought it was a fake putt.

Well played Ben.  I'd like to see a full bag put together from infomercials: Hammer X driver, Warrior woods/hybrid, (irons?), the no shank wedge, and an Overspin putter, followed by a full WRX review.  Any takers?

These things are flying off the shelves in the Boca Raton area due to that commercial!  Old eyes know no difference!

I LOVE the guy who calls his over spin "MONEY" and even kisses it!!!

"It helped my game, I know that"

"What do I call my Overspin Putter? MONEY!"

Gosh, this commercial makes me laugh way too much. And the cherry on top is the evident CGI in the closing images. Does anyone actually know that purchased it?
