I had some time to kill this past weekend so paid a visit to the local Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith and PGA Superstore. Swinging the same demo club the readings I got were all over the place. My driver SS had a range of 88-102 and carry from anywhere from 245-205 and all the other pertinent data had a wide range as well. When I asked the employees how accurate the readings were they all say "Very accurate." I will be fit soon with a fitter that has a Trackman, but what is the average guy off the streets supposed to do when he walks into one of these stores? I mean how accurate can they all be?
