Anyone else struggle with these methods?  Anyone else lose 30 yards or more and hit it right of right?

Just want takes on people that didnt get it,  and what went wrong

Mine was excessive flipping/ slice/shank/ loss of major power and accuracy

Thanks.  If you progress half as much in the next two months that you did in the last two, you'll be in good shape.  Just keep shallowing that shaft.

Lame Chris.  You should be happy that you've found your technique of the week on the dirt and that it's working for you, for now, but starting a post to bash another method?  Very little of you.

I know of some people that saw him in person and got considerably worse.   All ended up steep and wipey and at best hit spinny cuts.  None had shaft lean and added loft in an attempt to shallow out late in the downswing.  Having the left arm way in on the downswing requires a lot of delay and then forearm rotation late to not steepen the shaft and square up the face.  Most with either raise the handle to get the sweetspot out to the ball or steepen the shaft to get the sweetspot to kick out.  It's very hard to get the shaft to shallow with the left arm way in and not hit it way off the toe. Very tough move for good players let alone average golfers.

This isn't bashing and I've never met Martin just things that are inherent in any pattern where the left arm is deep/in late in the downswing. Seems like a nice guy who has passion and wants to help people.   Just stating what I've seen myself.

MPMIG- Most Powerful Move in Golf.

Geez Chris, in the program a whole year and you didn't even learn what the name meant?

Congrats on you progress with Como or Gerry Hogan or Burke or whatever, but you could have left a lot out about M's program and still put up the videos. It does look like you've flattened you transition some.

Great progress that you should be very proud of but the videos show some funky bends in your shafts.

Maybe that cross lateral thru me off..for some reason..all old swings had faulty impact alignments.  I never noticed this,  I always focused on swing plane view..never caddy.  Interesting,  something really thru me off.. Maybe it was the staying in one spot..I have movement now,  and got better alignments back.  I wonder if you combine docf with some movement if that would be more effective?

I'm just one of those average guys that wants to know what if you combined this...maybe this will happen.

I'm going forward now,  with head back feeling..  I bet this opened it all up for me

Anyway,  good learning today

What's your sample size of people that have taken a lesson from Martin iteach, 2, 20, 200 golfers?  How many lessons did they take from him?

I guess the concept of working on something for a period of time is lost in today's world.

I've watched Martin's videos and they are not for me. He hits it solid and a ton ... better than I ever will. In person he may be the best teacher but on video he's horrific. He tries to verbalize this move and feel but can't. I listen to an obviously intelligent articulate guy most of the time  ... except when he talks about the swing, then he can't complete a sentence. I found it frustrating.

His teaching style and my learning style are diametrically opposed (see what I did there ?) Not bashing but if you are a supporter or have had success with him, you have to see how some are just confused . Especially if they are using a funky move off of youtube without delving into the website or seeing him face to face.
