Jenner looks.like he might have some game.

And his face has been stretched tighter than a snare drum.  275 on the long drive contest?  Pretty sporty.
Not bad for a 63 year old man!

I have to admit, at the beginning of the series I found Phelps to be a bit "douchey". His personality on the show just rubbed me the wrong way. But by the end, I ended up being really happy with the show and have actually grown to like they guy. His progress was way better than what I expected and just like a previous poster said, he and hank did have some great chemistry. I really loved the finale, the idea (and competition) was great and freaking Jenner has game! Wouldn't mind seeing a second haney project with Phelps trying to break 80 or even trying to shoot par.

I enjoyed this series and I'd like to see a Haney/Phelps II.  The finale was great.  Phelps played well, but the the big surprise (for me) was Jenner's game.  He can play!

Didn't like the final...thought it was a way to lessen his improvement/lack of improvement by covering it with other players.  And Bruce Jenner, can we talk slow play?  Seriously...

Phelps seemed like the best pupil that Haney has had. Looked like he took things seriously and watching him hit those practice shots before the round, he had come a long way. He also looked like the only person on the show so far who was serious about improving his game and not just getting on a TV series.
Was the best season IMO.

Agreed.  Phelps is also the youngest student Haney's had.  Michael also has the ability to play and practice a lot.  Romano, Limbaugh, and the season 4 folks didn't really have that luxury.  Only Barkley would be one who i would say could play and practice whenever he wanted.

Anyone get annoyed that Phelp's can't show any sign of being happy with any shot or compliment?  He has no problem showing frustration

in my experience in athletics and golf that is typical for an elite athlete and competitor.  that is how it works.  it's never good enough and expectations just get higher and higher internally.  that is why so many burn out.  he expects more from himself than anyone.

I hate bad shots far far more than I love my good shots

True!  But it is still healthy to relax and enjoy those really good ones once in a while. He seemed much more jovial in the season finale and it was good to see.

Honestly I think Rush has been his best pupil so far. Most improved as well.

Agreed.  I was wondering if was just for gamesmanship or if he's really that slow.  Still played well though.

I enjoy this show. Phelps is so darn flexible it is ridiculous. I could use some of that. And can I play golf on an island? Talk about Fantasy Island

I'm watching it now. Every time they cut to him talking, I feel like lighting is flashing over Castle Greyskull and Skeletor is railing again his minions who have failed to stop He-Man in his conquests.

I told my wife he looks like Michael Jackson did after all the surgeries.
