Hey guys, this is what I'll be bagging for the 2013 season. I've been working on my bag for about 3 years now and have been playing seriously for about as long. I have never calculated my handicap, but lately I have been shooting in the low 80's.
Little about myself:
I have played hockey my entire life interspersed will a little golf here and there. I ended my playing career about 3 years ago and have had the golf bug ever since. Its been a blast getting out on the course with friends and family. Wish I had started earlier. I try to play a round once a week if possible and usually hit the range at least twice a week.
The Twigs:
Titleist 913 D2 - Set to neutral 10.25* (S-Flex Diamana Ahina 72 D+)
Callaway Razr Hawk 3 wood - 15* (S-Flex)
Nickent 3dx Hybrids - 3 and 5 hyb. (20* and 26* respectively)
Mizzuno MP-59 Irons - 5 - PW (Dyn. Gold S-300)
Cleveland CG14 and CG15 Wedges - 52*, 56*, and 60*
Ping Answer Karsten 1959 - 31 inches
Just been using a cheap Maxfli walking bag. Seems to be holding up just fine.
Huge fan of this driver so far. Accuracy has improved vastly over my first driver (Nike Machspeed Black)
3 wood at address. Just picked this guy up for cheap. I have hit it a few times and love it.
Not terribly easy to elevate but I love how it looks at address and has a nice penetrating flight.
5 hybrid at address. This club gets the ball up in a hurry and makes for a soft landing.
The trusty 7 iron. Absolutely love these irons. Forgiving and great feeling clubs. (also, CHIEF for any UIUC alumni)
Anser 2 putter with lots of lead tape and a fat a$$ grip.
Retired hockey jersey and the only team that matters hanging in the man cave.
This is my first post on Golf WRX, so take 'er easy if I mess this up.
