Nice looking bag there. You must be at a bigger or better golf school if an eight handicapp is only landing you the number four spot. Must have some good players on your team.

As to the dipping, I'll just say this. If you are truely addicted to the stuff (and you probably are, it happens quickly), don't use in in practice rounds.  It is comforting to put in that  pinch, and really can relax you, but you'll find yourself relying on it from the practice rounds and when you can't use it in tournament rounds it will affect you.

My course makes us hit off mats alot, so they get moved pretty bad, but that was my Mizuno's.

I think PING fixed the issue with the 56's because I haven't had any issues since the replacements.

It doesn't look like PING is replacing the 56's this year. Too good.

So I've gotta go witht he obligatory comments everyone elsem makes.

Dipping is bad, you're underage, yadda yadda yadda, You change clubs too much, you're gonna wreck the mustang, yadda, yadda, yadda,

Seriously though,

What's keeping you at an 8 these days?

I know you used to say you were trying to perfect your swing before you really started working on your shortgame.
Is it still the same?

I really don't get why you complain about your posts "taking a turn for the worst" when you're 16 and you post a picture of chewing tobacco in your posts. And living in the south doesn't mean its okay and that you won't get cancer. And I don't know how the rules are in Georgia but in MN you can't play any sports if you do tobacco at all, not just during competition.

I think we are now beating a dead horse with the tobacco thing. We don't need to make yet another one of this kid's threads into something off topic to the point where it is locked.

I am also interested on how you are still an 8.

I honestly don't know what my index is. I stopped posting when I left this site for a while and just worked on my game. I have my swing in a good position and I'm working on my stroke and chipping heavily. I still hit balls but its less of a changing progress and more a maintenance thing.
I do not have the same need for distance. I have enough distance and still out drive most. But I don't care. I want my scores lower. Not my drives longer.
My swing is a flatter more controlled swing than it was, I am on plane coming through and can hit a draw naturally, so I'm happy. Looking forward to seeing my distance when it warms up, I think my ball is going to carry a bit further although I have a high flight, not sky high but I do hit a high flight that can hurt me at times due to wind.
I do not hit my driver as far though, that I'm sure of. The 913 is not a bomber, it's more controllable though.
Ill post swing videos tonight. I uploaded them onto YT but can't link from my phone.

I am not going to affiliate myself with my school here and I play club events and entering some Southeastern / GA based tournaments this year.

Swing vids added to first post.

Nice swing improvements. I really like the one plane swing.. Your swing almost reminds me of Hunter Mahan.

I was going kinda for that, I am not a one planer by the books, there are still two planes, but my swing is flat, I don't like the exaggerated drop that the high left arm players have to do to get a draw out of it.

Control is all I want. Distance is just a gift, I'll take what I have I am happy.

Hate to break it to you but if you got rid of a truck for mileage purposes and got into a 5.0 you will be very disappointed.   15 city and 23hwy is all you should expect from the Stang.

Truck got 7-10 city and was not practical at all over 70 mph because of the mud tires.

Mustang does get 15 city but I don't mind. Better than the truck and I enjoy it more. Thank you though.

Got alot of flatness out of the swing, and I gained distance back that I'd lost and the swing feels much smoother.
