GolfWRX is live from the Honda Classic, the first leg of the PGA Tour's "Florida Swing."

The tournament takes place at PGA National's Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., host course of the 1983 Ryder Cup and 1987 PGA Championship. The course is known for its famed "Bear Trap," a three hole stretch of holes that take their name from Jack "The Golden Bear" Nicklaus, who redesigned the course in 2002.

The Bear Trap includes No. 15 (a par 3), No. 16 (a par 4) and No. 17 (a par 4). All four holes involve water, sand and have led to several big numbers from Tour players over the years.

Check out the inside the ropes photos we've snapped so far. Photos will be added every day, so be sure to check back.

Is Beljan rocking driver as his only wood?  I thought I saw that in the playoff a couple weeks ago.

It looks like he just took the plastic off his entire bag. That's a sweet setup he has in the bag.

Can anyone explain the green sleeve on Ryo Ishakawa's right arm?

He had similar sleeves when he had a diffferent clothing sponsor. I think Yonex

Posted Image

I assumed it was a clothing style element popular in Asia. Now that he is with Callaway he seems to have shirts with the same unusual right arm sleave.

i read or heard that the sleeve thing pretty much serves no other purpose than being a clothing acessory.  Oh, and to also give you an un-even tan line. :)

You don' need to buy the expensive "tour" version. You can go to any hardware store and pick up an aluminim yard stick for a couple bucks.  Place your ball at one end (may have to drill a hole to keep the ball in place) then putt it the length of the yard stick.  If it falls off to one side or another then your face was open or closed.

What is the yellow and red thing in Lucas Glover's bag?  I have seen them in several bags and have been curious of what it is.

I know! Illiacs bags are rediculous.

It's a nice looking bag. I've been looking for something on the larger size that's durable , but without having to pledge alegence to a club OEM.

But for $2200 I could get just about any JDM caddie bag and have enough left over to make a payment on the car it will live in and pay for golf for a month!

Any other changes to his woods that we know of? Last I checked he had a G25 3 wood and 913 hybrid.

Also James Hahn has a Super LS hybrid which seems new. Wonder if this replaces his 910 proto.
